Is anyone watching the PDC World Darts Final? It's quite an intriguing one as you have Rob Cross who hadn't thrown a dart professionally a year ago, as he was working as an electrician. He's playing the darting legend that is 16 times world champion Phil 'The Power' Taylor in his final ever match before he retires.
I think he will Strolls as Cross is really focused, whereas Taylor hasn't looked to be taking it seriously enough as he is reacting to the crowd in between throws. Cross is already two sets up and cruising. Hopefully a few twists and turns like there was the other night when Cross beat Van Gerwen.
Watching & totally out playing Taylor, the end is near for Taylor, cross is just playing majestically
Superb from Rob Cross. Awful gamesmanship from Taylor. Shocking bad loser. Trying every dirty trick. Reminds me of John Terry.
What an incredible fairy tale as Cross wins the world title. He was throwing darts in pub tournaments not so long ago. The final was an anti climax compared to the semi v MVG and the quarter final v Jamie Lewis. But fair play to Cross who was relentless and outpowered the power and beat him at his own game. please log in to view this image
Rob Cross is going to be a great player & completely outplayed Phil & deserved his win. The match against MVG was fantastic. But without Phil Taylor & 1 or 2 others darts would not be on the global level that it currently is. Comparing him to c#^£$ like former scum skipper shows disrespect for someone who has dominated his sport for near 30 years, doubt Mighty Mike, or Voltage will get anywhere near his achievements. He will be missed by the sport, thanks for the memories "Recordbreaker, HistoryMaker, The Power"
