Anybody watch it? Taylor v MVG. What a game. Taylor storms into a 5-0 lead with Michael very much off his game missing his doubles. Only go's on to beat the fat bastard 8-7. Fantastic game of darts.
Never saw it, but I'm a big Taylor fan. He is going down hill now, but nobody will ever match his records..
Taylor has been the best of all time. Would have liked to see him play the oldies with a dozen pints in him and 60 smerks.
Taylor generally uses psychology to perfection, but he has no answer for MVG. PT is a complete arsehole.

I remember watching Taylor a couple of years hit a nine darter in the World Championship final....and he did it again in the next leg! Incredible. Van Gerwin is class though, if a little strange.
I've heard a few say he is an arrogant twat, and he may well be as I've never met the bloke. A lot of people told me the same about Alan Shearer, but when I met him he was exactly the opposite. I suppose what I am saying is that I try not to judge people that I have never met.
I don't like the way he disrespects people. If they are both on big finishes & it's his throw he often doesn't try to take it out assuming that the other guy isn't good enough to take out his. MVG will match his records Taylor has no answer to him. I do agree with Dorty like, Michael is a bit weird.
