A thug linked to a club renowned for thugs! It could be a marriage made in heaven. A few rumours doing the rounds, I am sure that is just lazy journalism as Keane would never get the resources at Millwall to squander like he did with us. If Keane did become the next Millwall manager perhaps he will take our cast offs like Leadtwats and Delaney and pay over the odds to get them! We specialised in taking Sunderland rejects during his reign here so we might become Millwall's feeder club!
Perhaps they want him as a crowd extra, to toughen them up a bit, as their supporters are what you might describe as shrinking violets.
That would hopefully be one less club to worry about this season, although I doubt it will happen. I was surprised to read that he's had an offer from a club apparently, seriously some chairment are deluded these days!!!
cant see why anybody would consider appointing him other than as a 'look at my big name manager' ego trip. Millwall might have a dodgy history but I quite like the squad and manager they have got there so it seems about the right time for Keane to rip it apart. Swap Delaney with Trotter and we could have a great young midfield. Trotter, Hyam, Drury, the new guy, Carson, Martin and JET - I Like!!
