    Our mini-heatwave in Berlin is due to peak out on Tuesday. After scratching the 34°C mark yesterday, we dropped down to "only" 32°C on Monday, but Tuesday's forecast is for 36°C in the afternoon. Luckily I have taken the day off work and will be fighting the heat with lots of cold beer :)

    19.35 Worcs- Slim Pickens- No price yet

    A good Dr double across the cards, this horse showed nothing before joing him winning over hurdles lto and the drop in trip looks to be only his favour as travelled strongly enough over further at Southwell for that win

    woolly has mopped up all the jollies so lets have a couple at fancy prices;

    RED NOT BLUE 14-1 Worc 8:35 has steadily dropped down the weights to a point where I have to be on. Only last November he ran Mickie to 9.5L off a mark of 130 sp racing off 118 in far less exalted company he surely has to have a big chance. I would like to see AP on board of course but we will settle for Paddy Brennan in the hope that AP was bewitched by Miss Lovely Eyes! RED NOT BLUE is a C&D winner off a much higher mark and is attracting attention.

    CINEMATIQUE 12-1 Font 2:10 catches my eye because A) Laura Mongans small string is hitting a bit of form at last and B) Aidan Coleman is a very unusual booking. I hope its a hint that they think it has a big chance.

    Just attempted to place a Tenner E/W on Red Not Blue with Ladcrooks :bandit: @ Best odds 14/1...but was offered 1.23 E/W? :headbang:

    They claim to be the worlds biggest Crookmakers, surely they must be having a laugh <laugh>

    Good Luck to those that can get on!

    I'll do my best mate. Not sure whether its the onset of middle age or what, but 20 years ago I used to love it stinking hot like this, but these days a nice 25°C will do me, with a bit of a breeze

    Lingfield has a turf card tomorrow and there is a very nice looking juvenile fillies maiden on the card. Several are well regarded, most notably SULAALAT and the Queens PACK TOGETHER but the most glowing report I have seen is about James Tates SUPERLATIVE. Make sure you watch this race gents as I am confident that several winners will come out of it and possibly something very useful.

    Lads, Newland has Slim Pickens and Discay out today. Some clever bastard told you to back both LTO. No reason not to do so again today.

    10/11 and 11/10. Not big prices but worth the double with some of the recent profit.

    Also, I know a few of you will have trackers on ATR etc so incase I'm not able to stick it up when it runs, Celtic Fashion is the jewel in his crown and will hose up on debut so may be worth adding to your alerts.
