ran this, http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/luis-suarez-raises-fresh-doubts-1589501 but seemed to have missed some of it out, http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/latest-news/suarez-i-m-living-my-dream
Comic book, plain and simple, how they're allowed to publish what are essentially imaginary stories is incredible. Here's the Guardian's take on the same story http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/feb/07/liverpool-luis-suarez-anfield-contract Here's what Suarez said, sounds like he's sticking around as long as we keep pushing on: "I'm very happy here and my family love the life here too. I want to enjoy being at this club where I, like all the kids, dreamed of playing and now I'm fulfilling that dream. I'm very pleased and very happy because Liverpool is growing. "We showed we can match anyone – we had chances to win many of those matches. If we go into every game in the Premier League with the same intensity that we've shown in the big matches we can be much higher in the table." "It's not the team that it once was as they have had a dip but now we have a new coach, who has a philosophy of the game with which the players are very happy. "The only thing missing is to have more positive results so we can finish in a Champions League spot. We would like to qualify for the Champions League if possible. We are young and growing as a team and when the players mature, we will be stronger."
Yes mate thats whats on the official site as well Sorry mods, it seem there may be another similar thread so get rid of this you like
Footballers usually say what they think people want to hear. Liverpool fans want him to stay... so to English papers he is staying forever. Spaniards would love him in la liga so he gives them some hope in the Spanish papers to get some loving there. Truth is we don't really know what's going on in his head... no specific reason to think he is leaving... but you never know.
I take anything a player says ahead of an unknown situation with a large pinch of salt. if we make top 4 he'lll probably stay but if we don't he might leave. He wants his contract renewed, despite four years left on his last one, which could mean a buyout clause being inserted or that he just wants more money to stay. My money's on a buyout clause.
Didn't Torres say something similar? Along the lines of I want my children to grow up to be scousers.. He was gone the following season. . For more interesting facts join us on the United board
