Just wanted to say I thought the crowd last night were superb. For all you there, just to let you know the singing and atmosphere really came over on the TV. Also, fair play to the Geordies. Thought they showed true fans that they are, with Barton. Cant imagine some of teh supposedly bigger clubs showing same respect for an ex player
the whole atmosphere at the ground has changed there's so much optimism arround the place now just hearing the crowd sing "WE GOT OUR RANGERS BACK" lifted the whole place we are now one Board,Players and fans.
Absolutely. I've not heard the crowd singing like that on TV for years. The atmosphere must have been incredible.
It was electric, particularly the first half. I've got a bruise on my leg where I kept pinching myself..
I was reduced to listening to it on Radio;even there the crowd, the atmosphere was fantastic. Had to endure Claridge though! and even he was forced to admit that the R's were in the ascendancy last night, although he was putting the boot into Taarabt for not tracking back. Old habits etc.............
And what a bonus to have really passionate away supporters but without a hint of trouble or even a mocking song. Compare and contrast with visits from our fellow Londoners last season.
I was sitting in the paddock last night and the buzz around the whole of the ground was electric. At times (SWP's run back and tackle amongst them) many around me were open mouthed at the skill and comitment shown by all our players and i can honestly say i havn't been this excited about a coming season in years. Made me proud to be a Rangers fan
I see Tony F says in his most recent interview that he definitely wants the stadium that replaces LR to be big. (In line with his ambitions for the club)
