I've already posted this. seems 'Jozy Altidore stars in 'scary' Adidas World Cup ad' isn't clear enough a title.

Don't see how it's cringe worthy either, the man is an absolute specimen.

It's really badly, and inconsistently, lit, the locations are very average, his shot sequences are cheesy and a little bit ripped off a nike ad from a few years back, the voiceover artist chosen was wrong and a bit naff and he's got his editor chopping shots way too quickly from the beginning meaning there's no build in pace or intensity.

A steadicam wouldn't have gone amiss in a few of the shots also.

reminds me of how frank bruno used to be tbh a muscle bound specimen which restricts movement, always stiff with no flux within his movement

A ball doesn't figure much in his training then.

    Fancy that.

He does need to lay off the upper body weight sessions like. Needs to take a look at the likes of Lukaku or Bony, both absolute beasts but not anywhere near top heavy. Jozy is a fast player, but his acceleration is massively restricted because of his upper body. You need to be fast over two meters in the premiership not twenty meters. Jozy needs about five meters to gain full pace, that's too slow.

Figuers plenty on the ball here, where it matters too, in a game.

He's got quite a deft touch there, maybe if players actually put it into his feet more often we'd see more from jozy. No point buying a player and not play to his strengths.

Blimey - are you a fan of his? Do you really believe he'll come good?

    Don't see it myself.

I could do with that big knacker over at my place.
I've spent all morning loading & stacking flag stones.
70 of the bastards & they must weigh about 8 stone apiece.
Now I just have to turn over the land & lay the ****ers.
Took 4 runs from my sisters to get them over, ****ing van was nearly on it's knees with 18 of them in the back.
Haway Jozy lad, **** the world cup, come help me with my garden.
Otherwise I might have to ask Jerry the Jinx.
