I wonder what the situation is with Conway's finger? We have a small break now until Thursday, but it's still not loads of time.

Paul Stirling signed to replace him.

From Shadab to Stoinis to Conway to Stirling.

Do we get to replace him? Or do we only get to replace England call ups?

None of the "official" test players can be replaced (regardless of reason), because none of them are part of each side's drafted budget.

They're merely just shared out by the ECB, essentially for free, as and when they're available.

Lewis Goldsworthy caught out on the boundary on 96 going for a maximum. Somerset all out for 220 in the last of 48 overs.

Surrey well ahead of the DLS score after the first few overs, and then some conspicuous time wasting by Somerset managed to avoid getting to the 10 over mark before the rain came down. :)

Surrey v Somerset abandoned as No Result. Surrey needed to win that to close the gap on the top 2, so a great result for Somerset.

Originals v Brave to start at 7.45 if no more rain. Unfortunately I can't see that happening.

I'd be completely fine with taking one point each. Keeps us right in the race, and will leave Manchester with only one remaining home game.

I'm not entirely sure why Manchester would bring in an extra batter when there's 10 fewer balls to face (and potentially even fewer than that, if the rain returns).
