Just reading that BT have finally announced their team for the Ashes starting next month.

Matt Smith, rather than Greg James, will present. I'm not sure if this is a preference of BT's, or whether Greg wasn't available to join them in Australia due to his BBC commitments.

Vaughan, Ponting, Swann, Boycott, Gilchrist, Alison Mitchell and Damien Fleming will make up the commentary team.

They have huge boots to fill, so good are Sky when it comes to cricket in my view.

Agreed about Sky. The banter between Warne and the English pundits is brilliant during the Ashes.

Oh FFS. I cancelled BT Sport in a hissy fit last April :(

Have Sky, not paying any more for another channel....and BT ceryainly isn't good enough to swap for Sky.

Incidentally, Australia women beat England by 2 wickets in their first match.

I'm teetering on the brink with Sky too.... I pay the full £80 or whatever it is. It's way too much. My dilemma is that I don't get to so many games now, the F1 is liked by my wife and son and the rugby league. As for the rest of it, I don't watch anywhere near as many of the TV games as I used to. If there are any "series" Or dramas that get followed, they tend to be on terrestrial Tv.... I just need to take the brave step :(

For sport now BT is miles better than Sky imo. I have both but have a discount code thing from a mate who works for Sky so have the top package for £75 a month which I think is ok

TMS Commentary team & tv pictures would be heaven IMHO .

So .

When I get up @ 05:30 tomorrow morning , will the England team Be all out for 150 , or 250-0 ?

If they are bowling , will the Aussies be 150 all out or 250-0 ........

Bit the bullet and got BT Sport for the Ashes. Huge, huge month for Vince. The selectors have put a lot of faith in him to put him at number 3. Now he's got to repay them. A first England ton at the Gabba would be brilliant.

Suspect I'll stay up to watch the opening hour tonight, then it'll be highlights in the morning.
