From my good friend Nabil Hassan:

'BREAKING: Property developer working with PST - Stuart Robinson - has completed deal & bought Gaydamak's land around Fratton Park. It is understood Robinson paid close to £4m for the land which is seen as vital to Pompey's future.'

Yep. Looks like good news and another vital step closer to owning your club again. BC next though.

I won't say this too loudly just in case but "is it me or is there some blue sky on that dark horizon". PUP

Having never been there, how big is the land surrounding Fratton Park compared to Fratton Park itself? Could give an indication as to how much its actually worth before the court hearing.

I doubt it because the land could theoretically be used for anything, Fratton Park can only be used for sport.

Well, that restriction has been ignored this season. Unless taking candy from a baby qualifies as sport!<laugh>

    Now, now, channon !!

We have our moments - granted few and far between - but did you not see on the telly the superb goal we scored the other night against MK Dons ?

Excellent free kick floated into the box by young Jed Wallace, producing a delicate flick header from one of the smallest men on the pitch in David Connolly, into the far right hand corner of the net. Brilliant goal it was.

With Robinson buying the surrounding land this is now supposed to be detrimental to Chanrais "valuation" of FP. One indepentant surveryor has valued FP at £100,000 because of the simple fact that the surrounding land is owned by someone else.

The Trust are now contemplating the idea of offering Chanria the original £2.75m but dropping the price daily.

If this gets to a court case and a forced sale is implemented then the PST could, in theory, should other indendant valuers agree, buy FP for as little as £100,000.......

.......Oh how I would laugh at Chanrai, especially because he could have walked away with the offer of £2.75m!

Chanrai has also upped his "owned" monies to £20m from PFC now too.......no one knows why or how he has come to that figure.
