They'll all be out, stating that this is a bizarre decision. All of the ex-footballers, the clicky journalists the liggers and hangers on. Boy Redknapp and chums will make Levy a Pariah and question his judgement.

Get ready for the backlash against the club. It's done and we move on.

Of course - the media have been destabilising Tottenham constantly since January this year (and in the transfer windows with Modric etc).

  3. I actually have even more respect for Levy than ever before, for doing this. It couldn't have been an easy decision for him, but I think, in the long run, it will manifest itself as having been the right decision and made at the right time.

I don't believe this will be the case as look at his appointments.

Santini (big mistake) ends up with Jol thanks to frank

Sacks Jols, then Ramos (another big mistake)

Changes his methods and makes correct decision in bringing Redknapp, but was left with no choice to get rid of Ramos.

This in my opinion makes me believe that when the club thinks "we need him to take us on to the next level" they make a big mistake and it will mean we have to go backwards again.

Unlike Harry, Levy learns from his mistakes. He is not afraid to take the big decisions to make Spurs great. There are no certainties in football, of course there could be a fall back but equally there could be an improvement as well.

Make no mistake Levy would have seen through Redknapp a while ago, he stuck with him on the basis of results but moves now in the interests of the club.
