Yeah I think us fans should be rewarded with something similar unlikely the board would allow free entry but something like a fiver or a tenner to get in (not on a Saturday though )
They know our fans turn up in high numbers compared to the rest in this division. So they know they will get a good overall gate receipt for our game even though its a week night game. If we keep winning, even more will turn up.
They only got 2,000 for a free game Normally they get around 650, so making it free doesn't lose them much money. Good job they have an owner with deep pockets.
