"Eastleigh FC are delighted to announce that our home fixture vs. Forest Green Rovers on Tuesday 16th September is FREE for both home and away fans.

The club has been delighted with the attendances this season and would like to reward your continued support both home and away.

Parking will be available at the club as normal and the club have been working hard to acquiring 4 new parking locations around the ground for future games. Details of these locations will follow in due course."

And yet, our match, also on a Tuesday evening, is full price and all ticket.

Yeah I think us fans should be rewarded with something similar unlikely the board would allow free entry but something like a fiver or a tenner to get in (not on a Saturday though :D)

They know our fans turn up in high numbers compared to the rest in this division. So they know they will get a good overall gate receipt for our game even though its a week night game.

If we keep winning, even more will turn up.

They only got 2,000 for a free game <laugh>

Normally they get around 650, so making it free doesn't lose them much money. Good job they have an owner with deep pockets.
