Hi were a Group for city fans who want to stand and sing.

Were fed up of the KC being like a library.

Were really going to do something about it, although we have no spokesman to make official statements, All we have is a banner with a bear on it and some twit in a scarf/hoody. We want you to all congregate around this banner, but its top secret where we'l be stood.

    Good luck finding us

First rule of Ulltra's never ever tell anybody about the whereabouts of Ulltras

Second rule of Ulltra's never know where your going to be stood in the KC

Adam Pearsons idea of sticking away fans in a corner and the City choir in the north stand is the way forward for me.
We'l have to wait until next season for that though.

Someone is trying to do something about the poor atmosphere at the KC.

The club think it's a good idea and are meeting them to discuss their ideas.

What did you for your team this week?

Normally I wouldn't bother with this sort of thing, but seeing this poster is trying to be a clever so, Ulltras doesn't have an apostrophe in it. Although we're should have. And it is you're ( a contraction of you are) not your in the last sentence.

After asking and asking and asking where theyd be so i could go and join in didnt get one reply hence me taking the piss a little all in the name of maybe just maybe finding out where they were situated.

Seems alot dont have a sense of humour.

And lambretta Due to silly Sky coverage and it being moved to a Friday night, one was at work Earning a living, raising funds so i can buy me, my 4 year old and my soon to be born child the new city away kit not to mention pay the bills and contribute towards society.

Im all for the Atmosphere improving, hate going and having people look at you like your daft when you sing, its a good idea this in theory, they just need a bit more communication ie stating where the banner will be so people can actually try and get into that part of the ground and join in.

If im Honest though i agree with what one post stated about it'l only work in North stand next season if we get it and if its made unreserved.

Hutch Tiger, an article on CI leads me to think that tigers lair is the place to be pre match.

FOR ****S SAKE, I AM GOING TO EXPLAIN THIS ONCE MORE, JUST FOR THE ******S!

The 'Ulltras are not a group as such!
Yes, a small group of people came up with a concept, but there is no group to see, so stop looking for one!
Each and every Hull City fan who attends a game is an 'Ulltra by default. All you have to do is stand up and sing!
The banner is not a rallying point as this would have Plod and the people at the KC all over you like chicken pocks simply for congregating.
Please stop whining about not seeing 'Ulltras, as you never will unless you stand, sing and become one yourself!

    Rant over!

CI are usually on the button, however don't let them fool you into believing the concept was theirs. Let me assure you it wasn't!!
They were invited by the group, but failed to attend!!

I agree in essence with what you're saying however any club around europe with ultras or any such similar group, is a small contingent of hardcore fans who sing and chant all game, the rest will join in when they feel free to..However in the uk, it's a rare thing to see although recently crystal palace did something similar to our ulltra group and they have a fantastic group as witnessed when they came to the kc a few months ago.. another good example of this is The jungle boys of Celtic.. and Accrington Stanley it's still a rare commodity in the uk but a few clubs are taking it off! Why can't we?

With all respect, there is no 'essence' about it, I speak fact!
The concept group does exist, but they are not Ultras as in a radical group of hardcore fans, this usually means Hooligans.
These are GENUINE fans who only want to support their team, again I speak FACT!
I agree, we should be able to get an atmosphere going, but until people stop looking for someone to lead them and do it for themselves, it will never happen!
Like I say, everyone at any Hull City game is an 'Ulltra by default. Whether they choose stand, sing and be one, remains to be seen!!

The only way the atmosphere will improve like how we all want it to, is to follow what some fans at palace have done

Palace are proof that this sort of thing can work. Even the powers that be at the KC agree with the concept. They would like nothing better than for this to take off and the have the stadium rocking every home game.
Until people grasp this and everyone begins to sing etc, it won't happen.
The concept group can only sow seeds, if the seeds fall on stony ground, they won't grow.
Negative, ill-informed threads like this one do little to fertilize it, hence my rant!
