The Chronicle ... On this day

is anyone else really fed up with the Chronicle running the "on this day" features ?
Although it's great to remember the times when we competed at a higher level and those players like Pedro, Speed, Tino etc scoring goals in matches we actually won, it just saddens me all the more that we have to go back into the past to find something to feel excited about or proud of.
These articles are just a painful reminder of how far our club has fallen. Ashley out!

 

We could change it to 'on this day in 2 year's time', but that might be even more depressing.

 

I don't mind and can't see that it does any harm.

Looking at it from another angle and you appreciate how far we had risen to get to that point. We came from almost the lowest point in the clubs history in the early 90's to CL over a short period of time.

Unfortunately the foundations were built on sand.

 

I think they are trying to cash in on something that NUFC.com have been doing for years
but NUFC.com have a more comprehensive history book

 

I think theyre doing it because there is absolutely no news involving the club. They must be hurting.

I agree. Nostalgia is not what it used to be.

 

I just wish they'd stop trying to produce articles, their attempt's are embarrassing.
