    Anyone notice now much the chronicle have their tongue up the arses of Mike and Lee?

    They've gone from speaking freely to towing the party line once again.

    Honestly thought they had grown a pair. Clearly not.

    They are giving Carver a proper Arse licking too to be fair. I guess they have to reflect a wide range of opinions, they have been critical too at times.

    I think Lee Ryder has become very wary of criticising the regime. I've read things by other writers and though that Penfold and Jabba might be bringing the ban back tbh. I don't think it wrong of them to be giving Carver a chance. The fans should do the same until the of the season imho as it would be unfair to lumber him with Pardew's baggage from day 1.
