The bloke is the missing link in our team - With his contribution I am starting to think we can achieve something this season - You can post your eulogies on here <ok>

    Here here.

Took his goal with ease and his work to set up the second was even better.

He's not played against anyone decent yet, give it a few games more you make out like he's Messi standard, he's score at Hudders and burton ffs <ok>

You can only play against whose in front of you.

He's done everything with what looks like little effort. Sign of a top player.

It's the ****e teams we've traditionally struggled against (although we could have done with Wood against Cardiff). No end of chances created, no one to put them away. Now we have.

Besides, were his 11 goals for Millwall against ****e sides?

No far from Messi but we did not blow half of our transfer budget for a German bench warmer....prick ! nah , your not worth it. If I wanna banter with a juvenile from Hull I'll have a banter with Charlie ya wannabe !

Chris Wood has started his career here very well. He has 14 goals this season already so saying wait until he plays the bigger teams is a silly thing to say

Him and Nugent could prove deadly. Great buy by Nigel

In some ways, its still far too early to judge, but hes already scored 25% more goals since being at leicester in about 10% of the games <ok>

Lets hope his form continues, no doubt there will be a game where he doesnt score and Hull will be all over here, but cant complain at the buying price atm, really puts the effort in, has scored 3 and setup 3 or 4, not often you get someone who can score and setup goals.

Well he won't need to play against you or us, so that only leaves four teams! So if he doesn't score passed any of those, I suppose he's ****, right?

Ok so he's not played against any top sides for us yet, but he's scored against Huddersfield and Burton and scoring breads confidence, so when he does come up against a top defender, he's going to be oozing confidence to take him on, get round him and plant one in the top corner, when the whole of the King POwer will erupt in elation <party>

He is a fantastic player at this level - Just listened to Ambler's radio interview (our CEO) and was suprised about the amount of clubs that eventually enquired about him.
He also stated that WBA wanted much more than we were prepared to put on the table in respect of add-ons and sell-on (£500k extra if he scores over 20 and £250k extra if promoted as well as 40% sell on) He also said that Wood's agent (his Dad) told him that the wages we offered (£15k per week) was only £2k per week more than WBA and half of what he had been offered elsewhere (Leicester I presume) In short, our CEO said that over the course of 3 seasons if Wood had triggered the bonuses and we paid him what others had offered it would amount to £5M more than our all in offer (fee and wages) - not suprised we took our offer off the table at that stage.

Think he will go on to be a very good player though <ok>

I'm not saying he is Ed - what you pay him is Leicester's business, but the whole saga has opened up a massive hornets nest at Millwall as our fan on the board said in an interview that our offer matched your's financially - obviously players talk, and our best players were not happy at our club offering a young loanee substancially more than they were earning - our CEO has now come out and said we were a "long way" short of your offer which has meant our FOTB has been getting pelters and fans are asking for him to stand down - as AKCJ has said before though, if his goals get you up, it will be money well spent as the financial reward from playing in the top flight will make it worth it <ok>
