Some members around here will recall me creating a Telegraph Cheltenham Festival Competition last year on Racing Refugees, I have done the same this year.

Its ***FREE TO ENTER**** with the chance to win an IPAD or a £1000 and a team competition which will be this forum against others, with talent around here I am sure we can put the Not 606 forums name up in lights for all to see, anyone interested please follow the hyperlink below:

Good luck to all who play

    Definitely Wayward.

We almost won the Aintree one if I remember correctly, but for a weak last day!

Something for some casual interest and it would be nice to put our name up on that leaderboard!

Apparently each user can pick 3 stables worth. Does that mean we should all have 3 stables in the league to boost our chances or am i being a bit keen <laugh>

Looks like we have a competition lads, 16 members have joined up to now, still time for others to join before the festival kicks off next Tuesday.

Lets make sure we all choose wisely and beat the other forums :)

Ardent, Reebok thanks for entering, we have 22 players now good luck in the competition and lets hope we can win the team competition and someone from here can win the I PAD or £1000 on offer.

Either was it should be fun for a free to enter competition and no hard work for me apart from setting up the league, once the first days results have been published i will update the thread with the leaders table.

One question - do you have to pick a selection in every race? I may struggle on Tuesday as I will be "en route" ...............

Afternoon guys, a reminder that you can still join the league and that the Race Cards are up for tomorrows racing, please ensure that you get your selections up before the cut off time, heres an outline of the rules, points scoring and penalties if you dont get your selections up:

The Cheltenham Festival, one of racing’s greatest events takes place from March 13 to 16, and you can add to the excitement with the Telegraph's FREE TO PLAY Fantasy Cheltenham game for the chance to win an iPad2 and £1,000 in cash.

Become a Fantasy Owner by selecting your stable of jockeys and trainers and then picking horses in all 28 festival races.

The three jockeys and three trainers that you choose score points for you every time they have a winner or placed horse in each of the Festival's 28 races and double points for the Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup Steeple Chase (15.20 Friday).

You’ll also start with 28 betting 'credits', one to use in each race throughout the four day festival. You will score additional points every time your race selection wins or is placed in a race.

The aim of the game is to score the highest number of points in order to win the first prize of an iPad2 and £1,000 in cash.

You can make changes to your stable of jockeys and trainers up to the scheduled start time of the first race of the Festival (1.30pm on Tuesday, March 13). You can make your race selections right up to the scheduled start time of each race.

    POINTS SCORING

Race win 10 times SP (20 times SP for the Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup Steeple Chase (Friday 3.20))

Place: 3 times SP (6 times SP for the Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup Steeple Chase (Friday 3.20))

Unused betting credits (after each race): Minus 5 points for each unused credit

Telegraph Fantasy Cheltenham is easy to play and can really add to your enjoyment of a great four days of racing. Play as an individual or create a bit of friendly competition with friends and colleagues by setting up your own private league.

    Good luck!
