...in a nutshell As yet there is still no runaway side Once at the top clubs begin on a slide, First Forest, ourselves, and now Derby too Are finding ´up there´ there´s nowhere to hide, Their game against Wigan at home today Was the best ´home´ bet anywhere I´d say, But the top spot butterflies were in force As the game ended with a win away, And if this is a taste of what´s to come Not yet will we hear a victory hum, May at the earliest, would seem to me Likely that anyone will beat their drum, One point away today was as we should And in anyone´s book, it would look good, But only if our home form can improve Will away draws provide sufficient food, But for buzz and unpredictability This league has it all each week, we can see, Certainly no-one can this year complain That they know what the next result will be, But chances not taken, each week annoy We must be better to find the right ploy, And if our home base can unlock the door Of stubborn opponents, we could find joy.
