So as we near the end of the season, Leicester are promotion odds on. And i have a question.

How much would Leicester get in £ cash if we won the league? I know the play offs are around 100 million. Once called the richest game in the world.

And also, How much £ cash do premier league teams get for finishing in say the bottom half?

I think that they have said that its £120m for going up and coming back down. Initial £60m a year for tv etc in the prem, then £60m in parachute payments over (x) years after relegation.

Bear im mind that there will be a dramatic increase in player wages for promotion, and thats before any new signings.

Im basing this on absolutely nothing, but my guess would be that players wages will increase by about 50% (obviously all contracts are different). e.g. someone on £20k/week atm would prob get £30k/week. Wouldn't be surprised if players bought in on lower wages (Vardys rumoured to be on about 8-10k a week) would double their wages!
