For those of us who are not involved, the play-offs look well tight and difficult at the outset to predict which of four capable sides will take that last promotion place into the Premier League.

    These are the matches.

    SEMI FINALS

    Nottm Forest v Swansea City

    Reading v Cardiff City

    Swansea City v Nottm Forest

    Cardiff City v Reading

    FINAL

    Swansea City v Reading

    Your thoughts please.

I agree. Cardiff and Forest messed up at the very end last year and they havent improved this year

  4. Agree, both teams seem to know how to bottle it. Interesting hearing Bellamy have a rant about how unprofessional Cardiff were/are. He was shocked about all the functions, meeting fans etc. going on leading up to their crunch match against 'Boro.

Have to agree with him there....

If Cardiff can handle the occassion better than they did against Middlesbrough then a Cardiff v Swansea final could be on the cards.

I really fancy the Swans despite Forests recent revival of form. I guess whoever wins that game are the most likely team to go up via the final.

However, having spouted all that - the Championship has been crazy this season with all teams losing games that on paper they should never lose (Scunny 4-1 QPR being the most surprising) so any one of the teams could go all the way maybe with a little luck on the way.

I think a resurgent Forest will have the staying power to overcome Swansea over two legs - just.

Dave Jones will see to it that Cardiff fail against Reading.

If it is a Reading v Forest final, I'd have to go for Reading at the end of a long day.

Lucky lucky Swansea, Forest should have a penalty, ref gives a corner, keeper comes up, Swansea score.

That game should be 2-2 and in extra time, not a Swansea 3-1 win

    Swansea v Reading.

The fans of those teams apart, looks like we're in for one hell of a match.

Whilst the quality of the Swansea set-up is evident, I'm sticking with Reading to nick it. Their late run suggests they have the engine and the heart to go the extra mile.

A great day in prospect. Feel it big time for whoever loses out.
