Where Hull City will be next season unless a change of attitude is installed. We've almost bottled it, not yet, but we're closer to being in the Championship next season than the Prem. Hope I'm wrong
I just can't understand what has happened to you guys, you were so far clear and was more likely to catch cardiff than end up in the play-offs
Well, like you Dan, I watch all City's game in Australia courtesy of Setanta and the last few games have been woeful and that's putting it mildly. If I didn't know better (and I am a strong protester against fans who suggest that our players are not giving their best) I could believe that our players have been bribed to 'take a dive' the way they have played recently. The three bottom teams have made it look like it is THEY who are fighting for promotion and US who have resigned ourselves to League 1 football next season. Many fans, myself included, believe that we have been playing with 9 men most of the season as our so-called 'strikers' seem to just make appearances as they bear no resemblance to a 'striker' whatsoever. Our lack of depth means that their replacements are even worse. It would not surprise me at all for us to come out next week and beat Cardiff and/or Watford go down to United, such is the unpredictable game of football. Others will obviously disagree with my analysis but, for instance, Stockdales long balls down the field are only effective if you have someone with bags of pace to latch on to them - we have nobody. Elmo has spent too much time in his own half than our opponents. So has Brady who loses the ball far too easily and has made about 1% completed passes in his last few games. Meyler, Quinn and Evans wander across the pitch playing 'cross-field' football without any sense of attacking whilst our defenders are dithering with the ball with no idea as to what to do with it. These are the impressions I have got from recent games. I must add that Paul McShane has been the only 'shining light' as he plays like his career depends on it - which it does. He came close to scoring yesterday as he showed the 'strikers' how it's supposed to be done. he was "Mr Everywhere" yesterday and credit to the bloke for giving his all. (Just my opinion). None of our current players are of EPL standard (again, just my opinion) and, on recent performances, all the loan-in players we have should be allowed to return to their parent Club (if Celtic want Boyd then he's theirs) Simpson and Proshcwitz should be let-go and paid out. Steve Bruce has a lot on his plate especially if we find ourselves in the EPL next season.
silly ****! were ****ing second for ****s sake! take your negativity and go and support Grimsby, along with the other ****ing cod heads. closer to the championship? rearrange this sentence: ON YOU DRUGS? ARE ****ING ****ing fickle ****s! and they call themselves fans?
you are a complete and utter ****wit patty in pants. We might be 2nd at this point in time **** for brains but it means **** all if we continue to perform like we are.have a look at the last 3 weeks results and tell me how we will beat Cardiff you dumb ****
By grabbing the players by the scruff of the neck, dragging them through the game and making them score more goals then Baaaaadiff. Not by being pissy pants and whinging and moaning that its all over already. We're on the home straight on the final lap, were in pole position and a second infront of 3rd. They're only getting past us if we crash out, but they could just crash out themselves.
