Or so we are led to believe.. How much interest in it do you take? Watch it all the time. Watch it sometimes. Couldn't give a ****. Our lass insists on watching corrie. Which catergory are you in?
The games are on at a gentlemanly 8.45AM here and I chose ArsenalvBarcelona thinking that JuventusvBayern would be a bore fest. My average for making great choices has been maintained..
Couldn't give a ****........cant remember the last one I watched.......they're boring! I prefer watching championship or lower league games.
I like to be able to turn on the telly to watch a game and not have to **** around with laptop logins (our games excepted of course) which is why I currently have sky and will be getting an android box in the near future. So, since BT got the CL, I've hardly watched it at all unless I'm at my brothers house
No interest whatsoever, can't remember the last time I watched a full match, and I'm getting that way with Internationals as well, but do watch them during the finals like later this year.
Surprised at the responses here. I'd much rather watch the quality of Ronaldo and Messi, than watch a game from the Championship. I can only assume people don't watch the champions league as there's always loads of quality in them games and very rarely less than 2 goals a game.
The Champions League in general is too predictable. You very rarely see a genuine upset. In the Championship every match is up for grabs. This season Brighton, Derby and Middlesbrough have all gone on fantastic runs then suddenly looked as though they won't win another game for the rest of the season. Whilst Ronaldo, Messi etc are fantastic, many of the matches that they play in are far from competitive, so far from a compelling watch.
I guess people just like different things when it comes to Football. For me, it's all about the quality and watching the best compete against the best. I'd personally rather watch a local club around my area than a championship match. Arsenal lost to Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiakos, BATE Borisov beat Roma, Benfica won at Athletico Madrid, Malmo beat Shakhtar Donetesk. These have all been genuine upsets this season, and that's just off the top of my head.
The name of the competition? I agree. It's the champions and some other good teams who finished near the top of the table league, league. It should just be called the European Cup.
I love CL footy, but find it quite confusing. Turned on Champion's football on the tv and got Bolton v Charlon. Was hoping for Barca v Arsenal. Realized it was all my fault, of course, it's Champion's League football, not League Champion football!
Been betting more this season so took a bigger interest. Been enjoying it. It's midweek footy, what's not to like?
Never really watched Champions league since they changed it unless one of our teams are in the final.
I'm pretty indifferent to champions league games in general, the group stages i find quite dull and so i've never taken much of an interest in. I used to like the knock out stages but with nothing being on normal telly now and the round of 16 taking a month to complete it feels more like a chore to keep up with it now. Also i hate the barcelona ****athon that accompanies the later stages of the champions league.
