Some brilliant songs being sung. "No huns in Scotland" <laugh>

But what's with all the trouble? Fighting, seats ripped up and flares being let off. Apparently (note the word "apparently") a lot of the trouble was down to GB members.

Anyone heard anything or is it just the usual exaggerated bull?

There was flares , saw police walking away with broken seats, I put it on another thread it was like a game , police filming the fans and fans filming the police and stewards on their phones , the police have said more arrests will happen . The Tesco song at the end was quite funny .

Tynecastle brings the worst out in our support I'm afraid. Yes, zombie and tesco songs are amusing but the IRA pish tends to rear its ugly head there too. I guess it doesn't help that some Hearts fans can be ****ers (anyone seen the Jimmy Saville lookalike picture doing the rounds?) but it's not really an excuse imo.

Aye, been in the Hearts end a few times against Celtic. Unbelievable hypocrisy. Chanting "we are not sectarian" one minute then singing anti-kafflick songs and doing Nazi salutes the next.

I saw the flares being set off and thought to myself "well done the uber fans, another fine coming Celtic's way all because of you utter ****ers".

8 Arrests and more to follow, can't say I have any sympathy.

Dev, were you at the match ? The tv pictures I got showed one flare. At this stage I am not sure how most people would
know it was the green brigade. Could it not be Celtic fans mingling with the Green Brigade and think it would be funny to let off
flares. I am surprised how within hours of probably our best Domestic display of the season we have Celtic fans ridiculing fans
who attended the match and without the slightest idea of who did what and who is to blame. I also think most of the people
who go on about IRa Chants have special listening devices so as they can be offended. Like the vast majority of Celtic fans I
prefer to post about the great team performance and how wonderful our £2m goalie was. No doubt the police will look after
those who they know broke the law and those they know were thinking or might have been thinking. All I say is thank God Neil
Lennon got home safe and sound.

Probably but given recent history then it's no surprise in the numbers of pigs at the game now is it? Justified given the events last night.

I don't condone the letting off of the flare, however, there does seem to be a lack of arrests at games where anti catholic songs are sung. Wonder, how many we're arrested or will be arrested from the video above where hundreds can be seen singing up to their knees in Fenian blood.

Got a feeling that this may all end with many Celtic fans boycotting some away grounds for a whole season. Cubs like Hearts could not survive that. Policing must be even handed. Seems they filmed the Celtic end and I have no objections to that, but if they also filmed the hearts end then they must have images if fans singing sectarian songs. Lets wait and see how those figures work out. Will be interesting. If a fan can film it, so can the police, but the latter must have the motivation to do so.

I've heard Rangers fans make the same argument but i'm inclined to believe that one should look to one's own ain midden before criticising others, and that's not a dig at you.

Every side thinks the others are worse, but if they don't sing insensitive songs themselves or behave like a bunch of bams (which a lot of them are) then they need not worry about the law. The Police have far better things to do with their time than frame some drunken Neds, so the simple solution for the GB types is behave yourself and don't behave like a drunken Boy Scout on a weekend away.

Don't understand the green brigade , after the work they put into the Barcelona display everyone seemed to be favouring them , all this has gone out the window with a needless boycott and their behaviour last night . They seem to think they are bigger than Celtic .

Whilst I'm not a massive fan of the GB politics, I do feel its the fact they attract a high number of ned fans that leads to the issues we are seeing. They give the neds an excuse. I'm not saying all GB members are neds, but they everything they stand for will see hangers on follow them, get drunk and act like ****s. They attend only for that reason IMO. They are giving others a stick to beat the club with also, ****ing idiots
