    Thanks BE!

Best Driver: Probably Vettel. Bottas has a good claim on this too.
    Worst Driver: Erection
Luckiest Driver: I didn't see anyone as particularly lucky. Maybe Vettel (who drove very well) was lucky not to need to fight for the win?
    Unluckiest Driver: Alonso
    Best Rookie/New Driver: Leclerc

    Best Team: Ferrari
    Surprise Team: None.
Worst Team: Williams. Woeful. This team has gone backwards ever since Sir Frank made the worst decision of his life: kicking Damon Hill in the balls whilst he was winning (and still went on to win) the 1996 World Drivers' Championship. Almost half of the team were disgusted. The decision took the edge off something special within the team and they've never gelled quite the same since. (Villeneuve inherited a superb car but did nothing to contribute to further development).
Best Overtake: I agree with Big Ern: Bottas' defence against Verstappen was top class. What a shame this was the only meaningful wheel to wheel action.

Most Surprising Result: Verstappen saw the wisdom of backing out of a (lost) battle.
Least Surprising Result: Ferrari winning. Once I heard of Mercedes being on the back foot with engine upgrades, the already superb Ferrari had an open goal.
Funniest moment: Embarrassing more than funny: Chequered Flag waving by someone who hasn't got a clue and was not properly directed. Totally wrong, ultimately flawed, cheap American idea. Celebrities (if that's what it was) should only wave flags in NASCAR or other crap where cheerleaders are considered an important part of sport.
Excuse of the week: Grosjean. I'm beginning to get tired of him.
Special Mention: Hartley was very unfortunate to find himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Perhaps more significant; this race was an opportunity to stem gathering rumblings about his future.

Race Rating: 3.08/10: Not what we've come to expect from Canada.

Best Driver: Bottas for outperforming Hamilton
Worst Driver: Nobody stands out for once. Ericsson for being thrashed by his team-mate?
Luckiest Driver: Stroll for getting involved in a racing incident before he could shred his reputation further?
    Unluckiest Driver: Hartley
    Best Rookie/New Driver: Leclerc

Best Team: Renault - Comfortably best of the rest, they've done well to establish that position.
Surprise Team: Red Bull, did not expect them to be so competitive on a circuit where they are traditionally weak.
Worst Team: Ooh so many contenders! McLaren and Williams were truly terrible, but I'm going for Ferrari. Kimi had a full 60 second gap behind him, and they decided against pitting him to see whether the hypersofts could gain him a position. Their excuse was basically "we don't trust our pit crew enough to risk another stop".
Best Overtake: Hartley's effort at least offered some excitement...

Most Surprising Result: Verstappen with an incident free weekend
Least Surprising Result: one stop, tyre conservation dross
    Funniest moment: The Raft Race?
Excuse of the week: McLaren are an excuse of a racing team.
