As the season has now started the transfer news front has suddenly quietened down...

Over the last week we have heard 'supposedly'

    - Gorkss deal fall through
    - Jay Rodriguez to sign from Burnley after they completed the signing of Danny Ings
    - Nicky Maynard has played his last game and will sign after the Ipswich game
    - Anton Ferdinand linked with the club once again
    - Morgan Schneiderlin signing a new 3 year contract but not yet been made official
    etc...

My point is as it has suddenly gone quiet does anyone think it is the calm before the storm... Could we, out of no where, sign a player totally unexpected this week?

    Your thoughts?

Ah yes, I wonder if Rocket Swanie backed that rumour up with 'photo evidence' like he claimed he had regarding Hamdi Salihi <laugh>
