Well this is the time now when teams start to have their Bye weeks, the Titans for one are off this week and after that display at Pittsburgh it is definitely needed. A week off to analyse our play, rest, recover and train harder on what's not working (i.e. Chris Johnson and the running game).

My question to those of you on the forum, do you agree a Bye week is a good idea? Is it necessary? And generally how is your team doing so far in your opinion? I'm sure there are some very happy Lions fans out there!

Bye week seems a good idea but surely 5 weeks in is too soon to start, should be nearer to the end of the season about week 12.

Byes mean no gridiron, so no, I don't like them. Tampa Bay were fine, until they went to SF.
I still think they will make the playoffs this season, then, maybe the Superbowl in a year or two.

Their young enough to go through the grind of making it the to SB, but possibly not quite the experience...yet! You never know in this game.
And true but I think the break is needed to take a step back and train on those areas you need to improve in, plus some much needed rest time.

I do agree above though, I think Tennessee's bye week is very early, we have 3 straight games at home after which is a bonus, but it's a long stretch we have now, especially if we make the playoffs!
