Win. One of those Argyle away days of old: they average only 2,600 and the M42 is going to a be a sea of green at lunchtime tomorrow. Blind faith but still.....
My prediction league says 2 - 1 to Argyle but there again my prediction league forecasts always say that so it isn't much of a guide. Dunno is the simple answer. We have improved at home and especially against the upper clubs but we still don't quite do it away. Lets say I won't be shocked either way if I'm brutally honest. Just the sort of result Argyle could pull off but just as easily they could get hammered. You know Argyle's motto BC, never do anything the easy way.
One thing for sure Argyle will be well supported..i will hear them from over here.. Better set me alarm for 7am..
You must be at least 4 hours in front of me BC. I often don't get up till 11am and that's if I'm in a rush to go somewhere. I call myself a man of leizure. My wife calls me a lazy git. But, as long as she calls me with a cup of tea then all is well with the world.
Coffee for me...then at 9 i might put the kettle on for the Mrs..unload the dishwasher..put things away Etc..and then and only then she might let me out to play with my toys..
If we score more than them I will confidently predict a win for us, if they score more than us then I think we will lose, if we both score the same amount then I think we should call it a draw. In this league trying to predict anything is a lottery, anyone can take points off anyone but hopefully today it will be us.
Speechless. 3 minutes extra time and they score in the 94th. You just couldn't make it up could you. Totally gutted or worse.
Now lets get this straight ..Argyle get a corner..a minute left in time added on..everyone up..Burton counter attack and score.. Big mistake Argyle..
One of those "play on until the home side scores" games by the looks of it. Nearly all the sides around us have done OK this weekend too, so the margin for error is reduced even if the league position hasn't changed.
Did anyone hear Chris Errington's comment when Burton scored ..... priceless and I bet the BBC gets loads of complaints lol
Ohhh dear and York winning at Northampton as well, last game of the season is going to be painful for a few teams it seems.
As much as I want to, I don't listen anymore. It's a sort of jinxy type thing because whenever I do they never do any good. But, I keep the computer on and sort of watch scores on there. It was all over and a draw or so I thought. I was sat here waiting for the final score to pop up on the vidiprinter. The phone rang and it was my son. Was I listening to the match. No I said. They f ing well blew it in the last kick of the match and lost he said. I was speechless. I still can't get my head around it and if they lose out by a point at the end then this will have been the defining moment of the season for me.
