Got to be honest with most of the posters it will always be Ashton Gate to me, but as we all know renaming stadiums is the new way to make money now and would be nice if we can fund some more with the financial fair play coming into it soon. Bet we won't be the last one to do it.

Just be nice if someone like Microsoft or Apple got involved with it;)

    Not overly bothered

As already said it's used to make Money and will always be referred to as Ashton Gate to home and away fans whatever the outcome

I still call St James Park that name - can't even remember what the new name is???????
If it makes money who cares?
It will still be Ashton Gate

Its a shame hooters in bristol went bust as hooters gate has a ring to it.
They could have sold the chicken from hooters and stewards would have new uniforms though some of the stewards near us i think there is a reason they wear large coats, maybe wouldnt work.

I suppose the rovers ground could be sponsored by ............ "the City Centre Sauna" .....as there is the connection of both being having some big tits, smelly old ****s and a bunch of ****ers...

Would not surprise me if they do rename it, it will be something like the Lansdown Hargreaves arena, allowing SL to fund the club further. With the financial fair play coming into force soon you will see a lot of grounds names being changed.

Don't really object to a re-name but not after a hamburger or a hot dog...

If we struggle to get a sponsor for our shirts then how the hell did we get Burger King, a HUGE American chain with plenty of money to throw around to sponsor our stadium?

This news is bull****. I wouldn't rule out a rename, but if you really think about it Burger King as a brand is a bit out of our league.
