    Nope. Two losses against the two best teams in the PL and a loss when we had no CB's and only one first team CM. Not much we could do.

    I was predicting 16th this season so even if we bomb from here it won't be the end of the world in my eyes. Perfect season would be a mid table finish and Mike Ashley dying. <ok>

    You do realise the mackems think all we ever do is take the mick out of them, yet on facebook tonight there are loads of mackems gloating about how the Newcastle falling down the league has just began.

    Least you're not totally intent on wumming us! Martin O'Neill will save you from relegtion.

    I dont think, nor do I want you to get relegated. What he does need to do however, is bring some new faces in. I know that sounds odd, considering Bruce brought in over 10 players in the summer. But, a few of em, in my opinion are at best, very average.

    A striker, such as Papiss Cisse, will seee you start to gather pace. Think Europe is out of the question for Sunderland this season though. Simply down to the poor start. Next season however, i'd be suprised if you didnt finish in the top half. Yeah, I may think O'Neill is overrated. But I do believe he'll get you into the top 10. Would be fantastic for the NE to have both teams in the top half.
