Andy Stockhausen ‏@AndyStockhausen 9m9 minutes ago I understand Bristol City are talking to 6ft 6in Fulham striker Matt Smith regarding a possible loan move to Ashton Gate #bristolcity
We certainly need to start scoring and getting some points on the board. Friday in my opinion is a big big game on how we go on.
That's two out as we thought. We do need a goalscorer now http://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/article/duo-poised-to-depart-on-loan-2105930.aspx
Surprised we've let 2 out on loan. Already have a wafer thin squad. Hope we have a call back clause As for Matt Smith I think it's a decent enough signing. Wilbs needs a rest, 35 year olds can't play every game, even if they think they can. Smith is just what we need and should work well with Agard. 2 ex Oldham boys in our team now... and both called smith too!
Wasn't Wilbraham signed originally to assist Sammy so perhaps the duo may team up again if some of the rumours are true. Never quite sure what El-Abd brought to the table except criticism from our readers so not unhappy he has been loaned out. I have said for some time that despite our great start we were still short a few building blocks and perhaps some loans in might enable SC to right a shifting ship and get us back on the scoring track. However be aware that new players usually need time to blend in with the team so don't expect miracles overnight but you never know. A win at Posh would put us all back in a slightly better frame of mind although no panic button is required.
Wynter would have gone to Cheltenham if Yates had not have been sacked, Cotterill must have it all in hand, that would have been 3 out, how many in?
2 questions When does the loan window shut? Have we got anyone in? I think it's Friday.... At the moment none..
