Anyone watch this last night on More 4?

27 years ago - strange how time flies. I was at college at the time and remember it vividly.

The pictures of Norman Tebbit (much as I could not stand the guy) being extricated from the rubble were pretty shocking.

The IRA nearly had what they wanted with the death of Maggie Thatcher but she was lucky to actually escape.

Tragic for the innocents that lost their lives.

And amazing to think that the bomber was caught out due to his fingerprints on his hotel door pass which was found.

In my view it was one bunch of terrorist pricks trying to murder a bunch of pricks who terrorised us!

Where the innocent suffer as usual <ok>

Actually forgot that the bomber was released in 1999 after serving only 13 years of a 35 year sentence. Part of the agreement between Ireland and Britain.

Apparently the bomber (for the life of me I can't remember his name) is now happily settled in Cork with his partner of 10 years Bob and are awaiting news of their application for adoption of a couple of Jamaicans kids from Birmingham <ok>
