    Good Morning Everyone

Oxford United have confirmed on their official site that Head Scout Craig Dean has left the club to take up a role at Leeds United.

Dean enjoyed a successful spell with the U’s since joining the club in 2014, with his eye for talent helping to guide the Oxfordshire club to promotion from League Two in 2016.

In their first season in the third tier, Oxford finished just outside the playoff spots in eighth position, and Dean’s successful recruitment continued this summer whilst working alongside new boss Pep Clotet.

Xemi was brought in from Barcelona B, with Ricardinho joining from Azerbaijani club Qabala, and Ivo Pekalski joining from Swedish outfit, Halmstads.

Leeds have opted for a policy of foreign recruitment since the appointment of Thomas Christiansen this summer, and Dean’s knowledge of the European game fits in perfectly with the transfer philosophy installed by the Danish boss.

Leeds United are closing in on the signature of goalkeeper Kamil Miazek.

Club scout Jakub Bokiej stated on Twitter that the Whites have offered Miazek a contract.

    URGENT!
Kamil Miazek (21 years old, goalkeeper) has received an offer of the contract from Leeds United.

Miazek is a free agent and joined the club on trial at the end of last month.

He was on trial at Championship rivals Barnsley earlier in the summer.

Bokiej, who reported the news, describes himself as 'CEO at Polish Football Academy Manchester City Academy Scout & Leeds United Academy Scout.'

His tweet was 'liked' by Leeds United's Poland international Mateusz Klich.

Miazek was previously in Feyenoord's academy before leaving to join Polish side Chojniczanka Chojnice.

He previously stated his ambition was to make his name abroad and emulate former Arsenal stopper Wojciech Szczesny.

Miazek, 21, will join up with the club's under-23 squad, and is on the bench this evening for the team's match with Burnley.

Lewie Coyle has admitted he had to temporarily leave Leeds United in order to play regular first-team football.

The Elland Road full-back insisted that his future plans revolve around Leeds but he has no doubt that joining Fleetwood Town on a season-long loan was the right move after being stuck on the fringes at his parent club.

Coyle has made a huge impression while at the League One club, collecting a series of man-of-the-match awards decided by supporters’ votes.

The right-back’s 11 appearances for the third-tier outfit have yielded an impressive four assists, three of which have come in the league.

“I’m just at the stage where I need to do more than sit on the bench,” Coyle told the Yorkshire Evening Post. “That’s not me complaining. There are plenty of great players at Leeds and they deserve to be ahead of me but at some stage you’ve got to start playing week in week out.

“The thing is, I don’t see myself as young anymore. I look around football and there are kids of 16, 17, 18 coming through at all levels. Saying ‘I’m still young’ – it’s true in a way but you can’t say that forever. It’s got to be better for me to be playing games regularly in a competitive environment.”

Coyle signed a new three-year contract with Leeds that runs until 2020 before he went out on loan.

“The aim for me is to help Fleetwood go up this season but also to play well enough to go back to Leeds and put myself in the shop window for the manager there,” he added to the YEP. “I’m a very ambitious person and I don’t like settling for second best but I’m realistic as well. I know I have to play and I know I have to do well (at Fleetwood). I’ve got to show that I’m good enough.”

Good Morning Matt and co from a slightly sunny Bardsey.
Talking about recruitment re this new scout I see that Mowatt is struggling for game time once again he played less than 20 minutes on Saturday I,m afraid that unless he improves his next loan will be in the 4 division his demise has been that quick I feel sorry for the lad but I could see it coming as WJ will testify

    Morning all :emoticon-0148-yes:

Hope the players on Int duty all get back in one piece but most importantly Tommy has sorted out our problems of recent matches and has a plan to counter.

One thing I thought about yesterday was the actual first 11 for the run in. Even though we had a great start everyone knows that the team that starts the season is different from the team that finishes. New young keeper coming in, will he be ahead of BPF? O'Kane has been in great form but also a couple of shockers. We get beaten when O'Kane is off form so is that a place to look to improve, or just a coincidence. Phillips seems to be doing his job but we still have Viera & Klich able to jump in.

Will Grot use his power to claim a place, will Cibicki show us what he is capable of. Can Siaz, Alioski & Hernandez perform all season.....

Dallas & Roofe are fringe but will they force regular footy, yes Roofe has played but he aint a striker at this level which means he's a winger?

Mike that seems to be a big problem with some of our academy midfielders. Look what happened to Dawson, he was supposed to be the next big thing. He took his chance at first team footy and looked great. He got injured and never regained form, but Mowatt had stepped up. Another one season wonder and wow has he dropped like a stone. He cant even get a game in L1 now, so no wonder Barnsley binned him

Morning all, looking forward to.... (was going to say) "Normal service resuming" but I have no idea what "normal service" means for us at the moment, I was hoping we had seen the back to our "jekyll & hyde" performances.

Think the idea of polish goalie is to get bpf out on loan in jan. The lad is desperate for game time but is needed as backup at the moment.

Good to see coyle doing well at fleetwood, he can play but has suffered defensively in the first team. Hopefully the experience sees him in good stead.

Like the attitude, re having to settle for second best for now, though doubt it will endear him to the fleetwood fans.

Mighty will point out that on form, fleetwood is currently not second best but a level up from Leeds.
