Morning all, my understanding is that there will be 2 signings today. Ideguchi on a 4 years deal for £500k and De Boek for £3m. I believe both were given a medical yesterday? Final bit of deal to sort with Club Brugge but personal terms etc agreed. De Boek will probably go straight into the team and make left back his own. Berardi can do either left or right from the bench. The big question revolves around Ideguchi as the plan was to loan him straight out, but now it looks like we can get him a work permit we should keep him and play him instead of Saiz. Lots of peed off fans still, especially at Tommy because he was either lying when he said we had plenty of strikers, a great squad and didnt need new players, or he was being stupid and gambled and lost. Morning all. Personally speaking, if we are going to take a punt, then the young kid Marriott sounds like one to pursue. At least he is on an upwards trajectory compared to some of the 'proven' has been strikers commanding big wages who keep getting touted. He scored two against Villa with JT in their defence. That's two more than Grot has scored for a start. If we are serious, then we need to stop fannying around with these 'project' players or unknown youtube sensations.
Morning all I believe he was always going to get the permit for his move but it wouldn’t be renewed if he didn’t play enough games. Leeds have a deal with the club they are loaning him to that assures a number of required appearances. Leeds can’t guarantee he will start enough at this stage of the season and you can’t blame them for that decision, as has been shown with Cibicki and Klitch you come in off the pace and not used to Championship football and it will bite you in the arse. He was never going to be an option for this season which makes you wonder how good is he really? Not good enough to walk into the first team or make the bench after the Newport game? I question do we need him and I said yesterday I won’t be shocked if he never features. Yes Saiz. Jansson scouted by previous regime and didnt take a genius to spot he was worth it. Sacko signing was a beauty. But totally agree. Id prefer to see two 3m pound players recruited in each transfer window than eight or nine costing 5 or 6m in total

Short term shirt and media deals in Japan, good money spinner. He has a good World Cup for Japan and his value rockets so we sell him on at a massive profit as he is on a 4 year contract. He would not have cost too much as was out of contract at the end of this month.
