    Good Morning Everyone

After the Villa game, Steve Bruce said: "Everybody knows how hard it is in the Championship but I thought both teams were decent and in a good position to threaten at the top end of the league."

    Agree?

Am I the only one who thought Villa were lucky to get a point. We had the best opportunity of the game when Saiz crossed a dangerous ball into the box. Unfortunately three Leeds players missed it; only a touch was needed.

Villa's equaliser went in off the post. Yes, they had the better of the second half, but how many clear cut chances did they have?

I would describe Leeds second half performance as tired, and imo changes need to be made.

How many straight games has Ayling played in a row - give the poor guy a rest! Let's not forget that Berardi is a right back playing as a left back, and Alioski used to play right wing back for his previous club.

If Alioski were to play right wing back and was still able to get forward that would give us the opportunity to play another midfielder like Klich. I'm sure he has not turned into a bad player overnight.

Leeds have been linked with a £5.2 million move for Real Metis midfielder Guardado.

The Whites are said to be targeting the Mexican in the January transfer window with a price tag of 5.2m.

Performance had the whiff of a team trying to get rid of their manager #boro

Morning all, I agree Elland I thought we deserved the win, we were inches away and a few lost chances to make it 2-0 that would have been enough. Yes tired second half but we went all out in the first 45 mins so didn’t expect to keep it up if I’m honest.

In regards to Ayling, when searching for player ratings (just to see what other respected sports pundits thought) I noticed the Birmingham Mail, this is what they had to say about their star guy Adomah who scored 6

A quiet first half that saw a couple of weak efforts on goal.

Villa’s man of the moment wasn’t able to replicate his recent form and struggled to hurt Luke Ayling, admittedly one of the division’s better right-backs.

He did have the best chance, other than Lansbury’s goal, but shot straight at Wiedwald

Evening Matt, 60 and Cheers Ristac - it's good to get another perspective on Ayling. I'm not sure if he is as good as last year but he still isn't bad.

I'm not sure if Boro are in strife but it's nice amusement value to imagine Monk getting his due desserts

The intensity of the first half was so high from Leeds it's not surprising that they couldn't sustain that for 90 minutes but a bit less to enable a bit more in the second half would be good and more meaningful substitutions would also help. Pablo getting injured upset the plans a bit I think.

Morning ristac. Well said that man. I love Ayling to bits but we need to keep him fresh. Give him a two week break. Also bring that ex Newcastle left back back to give the team fresh legs.

Evening Eric, cannot believe Klich was not even on the bench. That at least would have been a good swap with Hernandez

I think it’s true what people have said, Hernandez going was a blow. And it shouldn’t have been, says either bench is too thin or TC made wrong sub

Good Morning to Matt Eric Kevin Shako WJ from a clear Bardsey
The Mexican is too old for me I would prefer Lansbury
Love OLLY WATKINS and Gregory it was a pity we didn't buy Olly when he was at Exeter but a bid of £5M should get him and I believe he will be worth 4 times that in future Gregory was awesome on Sat and with less than 6 months left on his contract and according to LL I believe it was has not been playing well .All I can say is he was awesome on Sat and a cheeky bid of say 500k could get him
Harry Rednapp sold Clayton Donaldson to Sheff U for 50k! that's Aldi shopping

Morning all. We deserved a win but after missing the gilt edged chance to kill it off at one up, always looked like we’d get done with a sucker punch. . Our bench is League 1 standard basically so who the hell is TC supposed to introduce as a game changer. As Klich can’t even make that bench, forget him. As for the mexican, there will be some list of linked players by the time end of January comes now that we apparently have cash to spend. Every agent will be using “interest by Leeds” to drum up interest in their players I suspect

True - the only times I've seen him play, on TV, he appears to need more time on the ball than the Championship allows - good if he gets that but unlikely

Hernandez going off was the game changer for me, set pieces were poor afterwards and it meant Roofe had to fill the void. If we had a fit Dallas it might have been different as Roofe could have come on later for maybe a tired Ekuban.

Lasogga not being what we had hoped for; ability, injury prone, falling out with coach (insert one) and Grott being one for the future is hurting us and sending Antonnson out on loan might be a poor decision, we should have kept him and sent Grott out.

In all though when I looked at the lineups I expected us to get beat, I can take draws like that when we play like we did. I have a positive feeling about January and transfers.

Mention today that Monk is on the slippery slope .He has been found out having spent £45m mainly on forwards Managers now know how to beat them thanks to TC Bristol exploited the space left by the 2 backs especially the left one just as we did
Glad we didn't buy Fletcher. Monk paid £8m for him an absolute waste of space
They tell me that Gary need NOT worry they require Monks on Holy Island

He ended the season very poorly with us, then it surfaced a falling out with Poyet *edit** mean Clotet had occurred at the same time. Without Poyet Monk has been left wanting, exactly what the majority of Swansea supporters had warned us.

Should have been game over at 2 or even 3 nil at half time, but we did what we always do by not scoring and killing the game. We allowed them to hit us hard in the 2nd half, but I suppose we should be thankful for the point because we have capitulated before and got beat. So although Ristac wont agree, in my opinion the bench is shyte. If as Tommy says we have a lot of good players how come we have a lot of defenders on the bench with Sacko & Grot ffs. Sorry it now looks like we are selling Klich & Cibicki because obviously Tommy dont fancy them, which could well be because in his eyes they aint good enough. That does shine a light on Orta though as it means a chunk of the players we brought in on long contracts are not good enough.
