    Good Morning Everyone

Rob Green approached TC last night an hour before kick off to tell him he was not fit to play <yikes>

Looks like he's off then. Unfortunately (as I see it), Felix is probably our weak link at the moment.

    What about Saiz, eh???

I know it was against league 2 opposition, but you still have to beat what's in front of you!

Michael Brown has accused Samuel Saiz of spitting in Joe Davis' face in the first half. Says he asked Christiansen to take Saiz off at half time.

Wouldn't be surprised if if the FA were up to the early hours discussing possible punishments.

NOW Brown is saying he expects a report on Saiz incident to go to the FA but admitted that video footage wasn't clear cut.

Alioski, Saiz and Klich all have a big future at Elland Road!

All we need now is another centre back and I reckon we're sorted!!!

Morning all. Dont care what the opposition was, we had 9 changes from Saturday and were terrific in second half. At last we have strength in depth. Alioski was also terrific when he came on and his box to box runs will cause opposition lots of problems. Good tactic by Brown which more managers should follow. Pinpoint the oppositions best player, whose been tearing you apart, and as opposition manager to take him off at half time. Cant see that working too often. Browns tactics with his limited side was to kick lumps out of Saiz and was upset when his masterplan didnt work

    Morning chaps :emoticon-0148-yes:

My feeling is completely based on hunch alone but I also fear Weideveld could be the weak link. Hope I am wrong and rightly have this thrown back at me when he proves to be superb!

Firstly Felix isnt the weak link he hasnt had a shot to stop to show you what he can do. The weakest link is Sacko, the only player who looks shyte from the whole squad.

CBJ also played fantastic last night, another debut who showed what he can do. Great defending at LB, great attacking play and passing plus assured when he moved to CB.

The spitting incident was crap. Just before this happened the player not only fouled Saiz, but then kicked out at him and should have been sent off, but ref missed it. 2 mins later Saiz scored & turned to ghe player and smiled & winked at him as if to say there you go dickhead you kick me I score.

Headache for Tommy as even Bridcutt did a job when he came on, but Klich, Alioski, Saiz, CBJ all should be in the team. When was the last time we brought in players who were all sucesses as fast as this crew

Morning all. One of the plus points for me is 2 games in and we already have 4 different players on the score sheet, 7 goals and only had to rely on one of them from Wood.

Read WJ match report last night which was great, but he thought Klich wasnt that good? Popey & Co thought he was excellent and was splitting defense with som eof his passing to Saiz & CBJ. He is a DM so not flambouyant like some, he just mops up, stops attacks & passes it forward. Think thats probably why I never see good in Bridcutt

It's a bit early to get carried away, we've played relegation favourites and lower league opposition... but it's a very promising start and great to see the new guys showing promise/ability. We will be worse at the back this year, because the whole side isn't set up to defend - hopefully it will be negated by us having much more of the ball, so having to defend less.

Whichever - defending set pieces are training ground basics so I'm sure we'll work on that and improve- we'll have to. From Bolton I have concerns over wiedwald - but I'm not gonna write him off - people did that to green last year! - I hope to see better command of his area in the next few games.

I didn't see the game but heard bridcutt was pretty good when he came on. He wasn't fully fit last year, and under monk I think people didn't realise how hard was to be a central midfielder for Leeds. We gave the ball away time and time again, but when the whole team is penned into their own half there were we're very limited options to pass to when you win the ball.. either backwards or a hopeful punt to a marked man.

Suddenly, they all look better players, so credit to TC. Let's hope it continues.

Last summer we were optimistic but this summer we have gone to another level of happiness, as if we turned into hippies. We have cover all over the park now, but unfortunately 2 of our better defenders are injured, but CBJ looks a rare talent and can play anywhere across the back. Ayling can do the same with Anita pretty much able to play anywhere. Pontus is back now & we have Cooper who is also thriving this season.

TC has a headache in who to pick in the middle, but I suspect he will opt for Phillips & O'Kane, Roofe Hernandez and Alioski and ease the new guys in gently. Klich & Bridcutt plus Viera available as DM with Siaz able to play anywhere in AM & Dallas to replace Alioski or Roofe out wide.

Happy days but cant wait to see what our best 11 will be soon. Individually I think I know based upon talent but the best 11 means getting results...

Already forgetting about Sacko, wtf happened to him as he seems to have gone backwards since learning to square it

Morning all. Two ways to look at the season so far. 1. We've only played lower league or relegation favourites. No surprise that we on easily; or 2. We've played well against ides we're expecting to beat, and we're warming up nicely for the harder opposition that will be coming our way soon.

No surprise that I go for option 2. We've still got our best DM to come in. But we now have options everywhere. Sacko is going to have to step up because Alioski will nail down one side with now plenty of options on the other; even more if you think we could have Hernandez AND Saiz in CM.

Only two people now having problems with our performance so far: TC, because he has more options than he knows what to do with; & Chippy because he now has nothing to moan about

... we played plenty of relegation fodder away from home and a few lower league sides I recall without winning easily or winning at all!

It's Definitely too early to start getting carried away, but it's definitely glass half full time... a damn site better than looking at two defeats with carp performances trying to pick out a few positives and saying it's early days!

What impressed me most about Siaz last night were the three finishes. All were similar in that the first touch set up the strike which was then despatched quickly and efficiently. I do agree with TC though that he is not yet up to the speed of the championship and will probably be introduced 20/30 mins at a time depending on the match situation.

There are 2 areas of the team which still trouble me.

Central defence is the obvious one as we don't have the ariel command we had last season. I was hoping Pennington's ability on the deck would compensate for what we have lost by Bartley's loan ending. Now his untimely injury has cost us the chance to get him bedded in with Pontus right from the off. If he is out for 6 weeks then that's 10 more league games which is a massive chunk of the season. Unfortunately I don't think Cooper is good enough as a defender, he does have some good attributes but he is not a brute like Jannson or Beradi and this gets exposed at times costing us goals and ultimately points.

The second area of the team/squad that still concerns me is who plays on the opposite side to Allioski. The contenders would seem to be Roofe, Dallas and Sacko. It would seem that Roofe has the shirt for now but will he be consistent enough for what we need to challenge for automatic promotion.

Also I think Wood should have been given more time off pre season as he seemed to only get 2 weeks after the Confederations Cup. He looks fit and firing which is fantastic but if he does a hammy again due to fatigue then we will regret not giving him more of a break.

If we do well on Sat that puts to bed the weak opposition theory

-15 points sounds a done deal then

    Makes sense to me

Would be good 2020. Apart from Wood & Jansson coming in, it will be interesting to see who TC picks. I hope he goes for CBJ at LB & Sainz in CM with Hernandez.

Boggers do you think Hernadez & Saiz can be effective playing together in the middle? On paper it woul dbe great but can Pablo keep up the pace for 90mins tackling back like we know Saiz can

It is certainly an exciting start, I managed to watch most of the match and thought they were poor. Very slow, but with Pugh & Tonge they were limited. For me our issue last year was keeping the ball, our wingers never helped us do that. TM I think saw this as a clear issue and has seen this as a key area to strengthen along with an alternative to Hernandez.

I thought CBJ looked outstanding last night and will help link up on the left as we have on the right. Alioski looked great in broken play but needs to stop looking for the foul so often as he will get the reputation (his work rate is impressive). Klich needs more time, he tried the killer ball too much last night. Ekuban worked super hard and looks a step above Doukara as he can control the ball!!!

I would suggest we loan out Sakho to get him significant game time. We can't afford to blood him and he is with us now. Key is commanding CB to give us the option as we will have to cope with Injuries and suspensions. Interesting to see how much he invests here, I imagine a few more wins in august will see us invest bigger in the Striker/CB position.

Rob Green has no fight in him ... Michael Brown is a classless thug ... Simon Grayson is a very limited, unintelligent manager ... Kyle Bartley is getting relegated ... Aden Flint is a donkey who's not worth £1m ... Becchio is old and retired ... Snodgrass is injury prone and on seriously high wages ... Berardi is not better than Ayling, CBJ or Anita, but good news is he's ahead of Coyle and Denton ... Steve Evans is a useless blob and major McDonalds investor ... Cellino is a terrible human being ... Phil Hay is a negative, boring cnut who should fcuk off across the Pennines and go write for MEN ... the transfer market and player power is going to end up damaging football beyond all recognition, the game needs to be careful

    just saying
