    Good Morning Everyone,

Thank goodness the international break is almost over now. We have the international friendlies, tomorrow, then nothing until March.

I'm actually starting to feel resentful towards England for all the breaks!

    Am I the only one?

The was a time during the mid 80's that I was much more of an England supporter than I was Leeds. Today, I really couldn't give a crap about my International team.

    Anybody else feel the same?

O'Kane is on the treatment table. It would not spell good news for Leeds if both he and Bridcutt were absent from the starting line up v Newcastle on Sunday.

If this were the case who would you play instead?

Morning Elland and all. Must admit I don't feel that way about the internationals at all. However, if our national team put in same effort as you're lot, I would quickly lose interest too. O'Kanes injury is a groin strain. Given that he'll have had two weeks treatment, you'd be hopeful he'll start on Sunday. He's certainly a bit of an unsung hero in our current setup.

Morning Eire, unsung hero is right. According to Noel Whelan, he is our most (or one of) the most consistent in the team.

    Morning all..

Even as a kid, I always cheered Leeds on more and Leeds wins were/are more important than England's.

As a kid you don't have responsibilities and are pretty much fearless. As an adult work, bills, mortgages, family and health are all far more important than a game of football.

I remember when Leeds lost it would take me until Tuesday to get over it, I hated waking up Monday morning for school on the end of a Saturday defeat.

I guess England defeats and all your mates suffered the same, you felt more alone if it were your team loosing.

Hope O'Kane shakes it off, Diacouraga for me if he doesn't make it as he is said to be doing well in reserves but no doubt it will be Grimes or Mowatt.

O'Kane is important especially with Bridcutt out too and I hope our strikers have their shooting boots on because Chris Wood will not be fully able to do 90 minutes after 2 full games for New Zealand and all the travel.

Vinnie Jones has been all over social media telling Joey Barton to keep his chn up and never change. He says its great to see a player with his heart on his sleave as we dont see enough of it in todays game. Lots of Leeds fans agreeing with Vinnie and wanting Barton at Leeds. So dont think Barton is for us anymore but last season and before deffo. Vinnie would love Pontus

Here is a thought, Barton on pay as you play, give him the one game against Newcastle in place of O'Kane if he is still injured..

Kind of said in jest, wouldn't really want him now but for one game against Newcastle....

    Morning all,

If Bridcutt & O'Kane are injured, then Phillips & Viera will play there. No other choices really, but have a lot of confidence in them.

One thing's for sure - Diagouraga will not get a sniff. If he played brilliantly (which he is always capable of doing), it would undermine Monk's decision-making & wanting to get rid. He can't allow that to happen. Too much ego going on.

I've haven't followed international football since Euro 96, it doesn't interest me in the slightest. Its always been Leeds first, even back then....nobody believes me when I say i'd rather Leeds win a corner than England win a trophy, but it's how it is. I just don't care for it.

As for Sunday, I would hope O'Kane makes it, I wouldn't be too confident with Phillips and Vieira as the 2 central midfielders, even though Phillips seems to be getting better with every game after I had doubts about him.

    and that's with the bribe!
Good job we are performing reasonably... But if we hit a slump our support will drop like a stone....

Don't forget we sacked the manager and were very slow getting in our players.Would have sold thousands more IMO if we had shown we meant business early on,plus our season tickets are still not that good value unless you buy family season tickets.Huddersfield for example were nearly £140 less than ours for the cheapest tickets.
