Saw talk yesterday of Leeds potentially signing Joey Barton in January. I'm told that the club definitely won't be approaching him.




Lee Sobot fro the YEP has issued a statement regarding the takeover.

Leeds United have "no comment to make" regards takeover/investment. That's the official line at present.

Morning all. Never thought Barton would be coming to us. Only last Week, Monk said he wouldn't sign any big egos. Ffs they don't come any bigger than Barton's. For the record, I won't be wearing a poppy but I have the utmost respect and admiration for any soldier US, British or whatever who give their lives in service

 

"No comment" basically means that something is happening. If it wasn't, they would just say "No".

Morning all not even bothered about tonights match, although if I see a win all good, but really dont give a fook. I think many like me dont bother with our National team as its been watered down by Premiership money, huge wages, huge ego's. Its not a sport for the working man anymore. Club before country is the norm and I know it shouldnt be, but our gutless warriors embarrass us all. I would back our team against England because we play as a team.

Not sweating about Cellino selling, I think its going to happen but when the deal works for him, but with luck we must get a new owner who will back the club to go up.

 

Did my 2 min silence in the guards cab during turnaround at Dorking and they also announced it over the station PA.

 

Did mine in the concourse of Leeds Station. Quite well observed, apart from the occasional raghead scurrying about. Thought it might me disrespectful if I made him ruin the silence by squealing like a hog when I kicked him in the bollocks.
