    Good Morning Everyone,

And surely even Mr grumpy must have a spring about him this morning, surely?

    What a result!!!

After a lackluster first half Leeds came to life, and quite honestly stood up to be counted.

Averaging the 90 minutes, we had the same shots on target and same amount of possession as the Canaries!

The team is doing the fans proud. When was the last time we could have said that?

Would Green have saved either of the goals?

Should Silvestri start a few first team games?

Morning all.. I think Green might have saved both those goals and no need for penalties. I guess Silvestre redeemed himself at the end but a few Norwich fans said they were poorly taken penalties.

I don't see any reason to replace Green and I didn't think I would be saying that after our first few games, great win though.

Green will remain first choice and rightly so, he's been quality recently. Don't get me wrong he was god awful at first.

I would give him a 2 year extension. He's no spring chicken but that doesn't really matter for a goalie. If we do go up he's also got Prem experience so would be good to have around.

I'd only give him a one year extension if he'd take it. He's done well enough to deserve an extension, I just worry that he'll get complacent if we do give him too long. Also need to get Turnbull off the books still don't we?

    Morning.
Leeds reserves beat Norwich reserves (just).... Get some fecking perspective
Silvestri is still crap. Hopefully someone might buy him in January now he has had some exposure.
    .
Upside is we get more exposure and someone might remember we are worth buying. Downside Cellino just put another £5mill on the selling price.

Great result, but the first team picks itself now, so Green stays as no.1 and rightly so. He has been top drawer lately (apart from the odd stray swing of the boot)

Do me a favour Elland, stop putting those video clips up in the format you are using, wont allow me to play them :emoticon-0106-cryin

What a miss by Mowatt, they say he did that so we would get extra time, and he would get more play time <laugh>

Good result, in the hat for the quarters, who knows!!

    Morning BTW

morning all ... what a brilliant display by the lads, filled with courage and desire ... after going behind with ten men it looked all over, but somehow the team dug deep and got the equaliser ... Grimes is starting to show his ability, and in the second period of extra time, just as he started to struggle with cramp, he did three brilliant things

    1) picked up the loose ball after Phillips fought hard to win it back in the centre circle, and instantly split the defence with a sublime pass to Sacko that led to the Wood goal

    2) as Norwich pressed on the edge of our box, Brady tried to chip the ball over Grimes but he jumped and intercepted it brilliantly to halt the attack and give Leeds a counter opportunity

    3) from the resultant interception, Grimes played another superb ball forward to Sacko, allowing Leeds to push up and threaten

a fully fit Grimes is clearly going to be a player for us, so hopefully he gets his match fitness up because he could be a valuable asset in the final third of the season

Viera is a real talent, and he has got the makings of a Prem player, even more reason for Leeds to get to the Prem asap, it's the only way we keep our top youngsters

nice to see Berardi back, he's like a new signing for us, and you sense he's going to be an influential part of this team ... if Taylor persists with his want away attitude then Monk may well settle for Berardi/Denton as the left back combo and sell Taylor in January

that useless lump Wood managed to burgle another goal, still only 65% convinced he should be at Leeds

    morning all

A wins a win but I'd rather concentrate on getting to the promised land.

Turnbull will be shown the door in Jan, along with Dave and Murphy, I'm sure of it.

Morning all. Feeling rather happy today <ok> Love this new fighting spirit Monk has instilled in us. My only worry is, soon every time a pl manager is sacked, Monks name will be linked

Ever since I was a young man, I've played the silver ball, from Soho down to Brighton I must have played them all.

And even I know Monk deserves a new contract and it needs sorting now !

Interesting article in the Telegraph this morning listing the PL slowest players.

    No 1 Crouch
    No 2 Adam

Can we please now stop talking those two up when it comes to signing new players.

Reserve team almost as good as first team and many last night have earned respect from the fans. Phillips tackling, Berardi back and good, Ronny gets better, Coyle was great, Roofe getting better, Cooper not played for a while but immense last night, Grimes starting to show what he can do and Marco in goal a shot stopper. All 8 can fit into the first team and lets be honest Norwich are a good team and made us look shyte in the first half. WE showed desire and commitment and never gave up running. Last time I saw that was under Graysons L1 champions.

When was the last time fans were confident of us putting on a display and were not bothered if we got beat because the team will give their all? first time in years so please get off Monks back, the teams back and even Cellinos back as he gave Monk his head
