    Some opinions are more valid than others.
    On current players, performances and tactics mine would be worth about 1% what they were when I was going to games home and away so I don't make em.

    I just quote the raw statistics (league tables/ attendances) and say no progress where it matters!

    Loverboy, finally you have actually thought about your throw away line about Monk's favourites ... you see, what doesn't help is when you say something but don't put any substance behind your point ... it's like Trump saying that if he wins the election "everything will be terrific, believe me" ... opinions can only be respected if there's some help to understand them ... dropping a line like "Monk's only picking his favourites" means nothing without further qualification

    I for one never ever saw Grayson as intelligent, just listen to the cliches when he speaks, very much like Redders ... McDermott is an intelligent man, but he won't replicate his Reading success because times have changed, and teams who play for him will be under pressure because of the expectation that he will make them successful
