Good Morning Everyone, Its looking increasingly likely that James Beattie will take charge of the dugout tomorrow when Leeds travel down to Derby. Garry Monk will serve his one game ban. Pep Clotet has now arrived back in the UK having just had a new addition to their family. It also looks likely that Dallas will not be fit. Berardi to due to play 90 minutes tonight for the under 23's, so will not be risked tomorrow.
Morning Ell Shame about Dallas, big loss in my opinion (I know grumpy chops doesn't agree but he is wrong). Personally hope Roofe gets a run out with something to prove. Will certainly give us more energy than Mowatt but not sure if Monk might go for something more defensive. After all, as promotion certainties, Derby have to spring into life sooner or later. Quite excited, four games coming up against teams below us in the table (when was the last time you could say that??). Now would be a fantastic time to really make a mark and have a season that goes on beyond the end of December! Bravo Massimo - keep your coke coated hooter out and things may just be on the up. MOT
Nothing to add today pal, not at the moment anyway. Several very good threads covering some interesting topics, just reading and keeping up on those at the minute. I hope Mowatt doesn't fill in for Dallas and I hope Berardi has a good game for the U23's
Morning all, its getting colder which means not long now before we sign Messi in January. Hate International breaks because I worry we can lose the impetus we had before the break. Yes in the past we hope to play better but for a change happy if we play as well. We can all breath a sigh of relief that Marmitegate is over, but fooking BBC will now find something us to try and scare us with about Brexit. Derby will be much better tomoz I'm afraid as there was unrest in the Pearson camp and we have to hope that there still is because of the directors bringing back the brolley. Derby wont be far away so a point is acceptable, but to be fair we need all 3 if we are to mount a serious challenge
morning all ... happy Friday and wishing everyone a great "proper" football weekend Come on Leeds!!! ON ON ON Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Quite often a team lifts its performance for a new manager, but they have lost a couple of decent players and I can't see them improving that much so soon whereas Leeds are on a roll with a much tightened defence. I'm hopeful that we are good enough to finish at least a goal in front.
Afternoon WCD, well said... Just like a defence will leak goals if they are used to leaking goals, but as we are used to keeping a clean sheet (hopefully) that will become the norm. Hope we can be sharper in front of goal...
Ched Evans found not guilty. Poor twat had his career smashed and spent time in jail. Hope the tart gets done and sent down, oh wait that wont happen will it. Anyway just to be contraversial, why not buy him in January. international player who would have been playing for Wales in the Euros ......
I think I suggested that before he was finally found not guilty. Don' think e will sign him, but the Welsh Manager might be looking at him now
Having spent two years locked up what use will he be. Surely would take months or maybe years to get his game back up to speed
