Good Morning Everyone, There is talk about Lewis Cook coming back to Elland Road in January!!! The 19 year old has fallen down the pecking order (not surprisingly) following the arrival of Jack Wilshire. A loan move in January until the end of the season could suit all parties concerned. Must admit, I'd be gutted if he went on loan to another Championship club. The Leeds United Supporters Trust’s annual general meeting, held in Leeds on Saturday and detailed in last week’s column, ratified the election of six new faces to the group’s board. The new board members are: Dave Carrington, Emma Carrington, Jon Howe, Ian McMullen, Steve White, plus one supporter who asked for their details not to be published by the Evening Post. The Trust’s chairman, Michael Green, revealed at the AGM how losses of more than £2,000 had been turned into a £1,000 surplus during what he described as a “difficult time for the Trust.” If Dallas is injured on Saturday, who should take his place? Roofe, Mowatt or another? Jansson has revealed that talks are already underway regarding a permanent move to Elland Road.
If Dallas is unavailable then Dynasty will be a decent replacement. Now who was it that kept telling me how LUST had 20,000 members and they represented everyone. Now it's just a publicity vehicle for the Carringtons (another Dynasty link)!
Good morning all, hope the Jansson talks go well. I always worry when it is Cellino and a players agent around a table
Morning Elland and all. As usual our world beating youngsters either find themselves on the subs bench after leaving a la Cook or with relegation candidates Byram and the Norwich bunch every second season. Snoddy also in same bracket. These lads clearly not great at picking clubs or not as great as we like to imagine. As for LUST. What do they stand for anymore except their constant anti Cellino posts on twitter? Most, I suspect had forgotten they existed. Next job, lump a few quid on Leeds at those 4-1 odds for the weekend
Morning all ... Cook must not come back on loan, we need to keep developing long term ... Roofe for Dallas and run at Derby, put them on the back foot ... Jansson will sign because he will play the 20 games needed to trigger the deal, which has already been agreed, so only talks now will be a potentially longer contract than originally signed off who is LUST? Morning Glory ... like Wood? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Morning all. On the bright side Chris Wood has been getting rave reviews from the International football media and fans alike. He has been likened to Zaza ffs. It does seem the Kiwi boss uses him slightly different but his scoring record is phenomenal for Internationals. Hope GM can see if he can play him in a similar role. Cook would be good but a bit of a blow to the lad if true, but with Bridcutt out for a while it may be a good one. Roofe needs some game time but up top with Wood, and yes I know its more 4-4-2 that we struggle at, but have we tried it since we stared gelling? we do need a plan B
Let Cook rot at Bournemouth, he didn't want to be here so **** him , he'll be back in the championship next year anyway
Morning Elland. Morning all. On Cook, would be great to get him back, but where would that leave the midfield? We already have more than enough. On Dallas not being available, I'd play Roofe wide right. Mowatt is better suited through the middle.
Current first-team players under contract next season: Luke Ayling Liam Cooper Kemar Roofe Chris Wood Marcus Antonsson Marco Silvestri Eunan O’Kane Stuart Dallas Kalvin Phillips Ronaldo Vieira Liam Bridcutt Gaetano Berardi Bailey Peacock-Farrell Tyler Denton
Good Morning Eire, I agree about lumping a bit of money on Leeds at the weekend. 4/1 is brilliant. I don't pay much attention to the protest groups. Are LUST anti Cellino too? Was surprised that Byram became first choice right back at West Ham. Watching him play he always looked quite awkward when defending. I thought he would have been played wide right midfield
Morning Doc, yes, saw the reviews on Wood. We forget he is only 24, which for a striker is young.. Saying that, the 18yo at Bristol City (on loan from Chelsea) continuous to bang in em)
