David Wagner has used his close friendship with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp to good effect by taking his Huddersfield Town squad to the Reds' training base Melwood to prepare for his teams Cup final against Leeds United.





Reports from Italy have suggested that Leeds United held late talks with Salernitana to sign striker Massimo Coda.

Solo Salerno claims that Leeds owner Massimo Cellino wanted to bring the 27-year-old to Leeds last week, but it was too late in the transfer window.





Leeds United fans are being urged to send controversial owner Massimo Cellino a postcard expressing their concerns in an attempt to convince the owner to sell the club.

Protest group Time To Go Massimo have suggested that three bids in total are in the offing, which has inspired further action from the group.

 

Morning all... Saw the link to the postcards doing the rounds on Twitter the other day. Could 100% understand it last season, not sure what our crazy owner has done wrong this season.

 

TTGM is shooting itself in the foot right now and should get behind the club for a change. Yes if it goes Chippy in a few weeks and we are getting no points, playing bad and Monk comes under pressure, then go for it. But to do it now when in fairness Cellino has backed his manager for the first time is criminal. All this does is add to the weight on the players shoulder already. Let the team gel, bond together and build confidence for a change.

 

Prediction:
If we lose on Saturday Monk will be sacked!

I couldn't care if we were ten points clear in the table Massimo Cellino should be kicked out of football worldwide.

TTGM are showing themselves up to be the clowns that we know they are. If 3 bids are really well on the go & Massimo is listening, then IMO there's a very real chance that this stunt is more likely to make him dig his heels in & stay, rather than give way to pressure from this numpty group.

Plenty of people would like to own a club just for their own kudos, we need an owner with ambition and deep pockets. £100m+ to buy the club, buy back ER and TA, invest in TA and academy, pay any debts. Then look at players and try for promotion. Long term aims not short termism

If Pontus Jansson was good enough to play for Sweden, at 6 ft 5in he should give us some dominance in the box which has been needed for some time.If he is the answer in defence it will give Gary Monk some time to start looking at the attack. I believe given time Gary Monk could develop the present squad into a decent team. Saturday will give us a clue.

 

No we don't but why should he sell to some excrement cheapskate like Haigh who tried and failed before. bates sold to GFH and we know what skint arabs they were. The next owner I hope is the right owner, but why not wait and see what our present nutjob does this season first. Yes he may be chipsters bitch, but he may also have learned a lesson and is trying to do the right thing
