Cook had a great day captaining his country and will more than likely do it at U21 and senior side too. How much did we sell him for. O'Kane is a great signing and an unsung hero that all promotion winning sides need. Chuffed we have him and cant wait to see him in tandem with Bridcutt and Pontus Jannson and Bartley ib a solid 2 and 2 backed by Taylor and Ayling at the back. I'm hoping that it all starts to gel and we see chances created for Wood and Antonnson. I'm still as optimistic as I was as I believe this is the bast team since Graysons promo side. Morning all, watched 30 minutes of the England game last night and nearly fell asleep. Hamilton screwed up his start in Italy so that was a procession bore and Northampton Saints lost their opening game. Pakistan beat Englad in the last ODI so in all my weekend of sport was pretty sour.
Huh? weekend break was the weekend before, apart from the footie it was excellent. I seem to be less and less interested in the footie and have chosen to give the match a miss on Saturday and will head to Bolton Abbey to watch Catherine Jenkins instead. Was going to do both but cant be bothered. The team don't put themselves out for me so why should I put myself out for them?
Morning all. For me, the season really starts this weekend. Squad for season in place, have had plenty of time to adjust to new surroundings, get fit, sort out tactics and see whos not up to the job, ie Bamba and Green. Next four or five games will be a fair indication what progress we are making or likely to make with this current bunch. So lets be having you Leeds, enough of the early season fannying about done
Morning all I'm skeptical about having Richardson coming to us... however if it's between us and Bristol I can see Richardson coming to us. We're also lined with an Algerian CB who played for Watford last season. So it's great to see we're dealing with the ST issue. Didn't watch the England Game... I actually forgot it was on until the match report on the 10 pm news.
Richardson: what does he have in common with Jonny Evans, Wes Brown, Fletcher and O'Shay. All Ferguson kids and all given the boot from OT. Fletcher doing wellish for Scotland and Evans/O'Shay doing ok for all parts Ireland. Brown and Richardson both promising starts to career and both played for England. However Brown and Richardson both overpaid and out of work. Yes both could do a job but for a full season? I dont think so as they both thought they had made it and now find they dont have the balls to fight. I remember a few seasons ago leaving OT one European night, and at the lights next to me was Wes Brown in a Bentley GT Continental. Dont think him or Richardson could fight in our league
