Good Morning Everyone, A hard fought victory was taken from our grasp Saturday afternoon at Deepdale. How many times do we buckle in the last minutes of a game? At least it is over now, and we can look forward to rebuilding for the next years play offs? Right? I cannot wait to see the retained list? I wonder how the players are going to be told this season? My guess is :- please log in to view this image or please log in to view this image Is Evans going to be on the retained list?
It seems extremely unlikely that Steve Evans will be retained Cellino appears to be waiting for his contract to expire.
Morning all, lots of hopes, lots of using Wiki, lots of YouTube clips, lots of disappointment, lots of loans, that's preseason and first month of 2016/17 sorted...
Morning ristac, You never know. The retained list will give us an idea of what to expect. Ie if we are getting rid of Wooton, Bellusci etc it shows intent.
Morning all. Thats another season out of the way thank god.Sad thing is though, thats been the feeling for most of the last twelve, relief its over and Leeds are still around to fight another day. I read somewhere there is a board meeting on May 18 to discuss pre season strategy or something. Surely that board meeting should have been weeks ago when it was obvious where we'd finish and what players needed showing the door
Morning all....got back yesterday from Preston. What great craic we had, the atmosphere in the Leeds end was cracking. We surf when we like we surf when we like. Will be marking this fixture as one to go to again.
Only a couple of seasons ago Eire and I were the most positive about Cellino but obviously drink had cooked our heads. Now I'm glad it's over again and don't think we will be any clearer anytime soon. What a ridiculous laughing stock our club has become To stand a slim chance of promotion we need an owner with deep pockets and that doesn't guarantee it. Not so long ago Bournmouth. Swansea, Southampton, Hull, Norwich were with us down here but have invested and got the rewards. Yes a couple of them bounce like Burnley but with the initial cash received followed by parachute payments you can almost guarantee to get promotion again on the bounce. villa, Newcastle and Norwich next season and where will we be. Nowhere again without owner showing intent
Morning everyone....Just by the law of averages, we are due a decent season and to land a few players who perform better than our expectations. Keep the Faith. Hearing rumours this morning that our next manager could be Walter Melon. I tried to google him, but couldn't find anything.
John Sheridan 6/4 favorite? If true not sure what to think about it. Great player and servant for the club, but has he done as much in management as Evans? will he have the balls to tell Cellino he needs cash and decent players or pointless him coming. Is he any more qualified than the guy we got last summer ffs
Shez aint coming....... Laughed at me when we discussed the woes and Cellino a couple of months back. Shame cos the nights on the lash would have been great. (again)
Sheridan takes Oldham to 17th in League one and he is a better option than Evans who finished 12th - Couldn't make it up.
But that's just what it is, made up bollocks and easy money for the bookies from mug punters who'll lump money on the favourite
Absolute pisshead, one of my favourite players in the 80s, met his Dad on a train after I'd forgotten where my coach to Holyhead was. Seen him with the Republic, class player...
