Good Morning Everyone, The FA are to approach Lucy Ward's legal team to see if they want to pursue a claim against Leeds Utd for breaking FA rules. Hmmmmm, I wonder what that could lead to? Could the FA dock Leeds 10 points? Thoughts? Meanwhile Cellino has denied saying (to Gary Cooper) that football was "no place for women. They should be on the bedroom or a beautician's " saying that he is "horrified" and "disgusted" by the apparent slur. Morning all. Not first time I've said this but building for a top six spot doesn't interest me at all. The target should be autos and a top six spot a sort of consolation prize. Two things we have learned about Cellino. 1. He lies......Either he took a back seat in this and didn't involve himself in the case or he lied when he previously said " as an owner I do everything at the club. I even cut the pitch"... Can't both be true...... Some of us know that Cellino lies constantly on his business, tax and legal matters....... I expect Pearson to now defend his position given Cellino has placed the blame for this at his door.. 2. After the first day at Court, Cellino was nowhere to be seen. It was clear that Cellino told Pearson to get rid of Ward by whatever means necessary. The internal side of the club did not have the necessary legal / HR to be able to drive her out. You have to feel a little sorry for Pearson. It was obvious the club were going to lose. Just thinking about the dozens of other people Cellino has sacked at the club. Are they now going to come out of the woodwork?
Youre on Glory. The only thing that will push him to sell, forget bans or anything else, will be a tempting offer. As yet, nobody has appeared in the last decade of the megabucks variety and likely wont. Messers like the Leeds fans united or whatever with their 500k in the bank will only strengthen his resolve not to sell. But who knows, we may be lucky and get another Andy Lerner Villa owner type. Morning all... Another morning and another round of all the headlines being for the wrong reasons. I would happily take the Rangers approach if it meant getting rid of GFH and Cellino and replacing with someone decent, yes 4th tier football starting fresh over what we are doing now. We are barely surviving in this division, Cellino has to go, I'm happy to take what that would mean. It feels as a club we are at rock bottom as it is.
