    Morning Everyone,

Just out of interest, what do you normally have for Breakfast, if anything?

Rodolph Austin has revealed his frustration at not leaving the club in January - with tough new rules on work permits for foreign players now blocking his return to England.

Austin said: “I am grateful that I got to be in Leeds, and I have nothing bad to say about the team.

“But I should have left them in January. But this is football.”

Leeds beat Notts County in a behind closed doors game yesterday 2-0. It is believe that Jerome Thomas may have played for us yesterday. Nobody knows much about it!

    Thoughts?

I eat pussy for breakfast followed by a gallon of coffee.

Not sure about Thomas although he has quality but is over 30, but will he give Leeds60 what he wants? Behind closed doors games are great if you can get your tactics right, but was this done for the Everton match, a final chance to look a t the squad, and probably look at some well known trialists? Or have we done it for the Burnley game, method in it?

As far as Guinness and our Irish mates goes, I've seen tv advertisements for this new Guinness beer, is it worth a dabble Shaks?

Good morning to Matt and co from a dull Bardsey
Thomas will give us width and will cost nothing looks like Woods will not start against Burnley which is a pity so I suppose they will keep Morison until he is fit
Breakfast usually consists of boiled egg or on a Saturday full English without the black pudding but with fried bread
Seems strange the Austin affair lets hope they sort it out
I heard we get 20% on the Gradel deal which would give us £1.4m
How did you know about Jerome Thomas BTW
Stop press apparently we are after Will Buckley from Sunderland well he would be great for us except he plays on right wing but I can testify he scores some good goals and will qualify as he is over 6feet!

"I heard we get 20% on the Gradel deal which would give us £1.4m"

Surely we don't get 20% of any fee he is transferred for. I assumed it was just any added value for his original transfer !

Who know s what he was transferred for, from Leeds anyway. ?

Transfer money seems to get "cut up" so many times by" whoever" that who knows what happens. eg McCormack ???

Dave, Mike's correct in that it's 20% of any future transfer fee. <ok>

Just seen we are after Will Buckley well I last saw Will play at Town and he vindicated me that day as I told my 2 grandson to keep a special eye on him as he was their dangerman .Well he scored 2 very good goals for Brighton, but he his a right winger and I thought we were after a left but if we are after him and according to reports can have him for £1.5m it seems again likely that Byram is leaving

Mike, why does it seem likely that Byram will leave? Have you heard something that we haven't?

Seen this sort of confirmed via Twitter-from the Leeds United Away Days FB page. Said a few trialists played including Jerome Thomas. Allegedly MC was at Burys match last night to watch Danny Mayor,League 2 Player of the Season last term,24 years young, left sided winger.!!

Also notable that Wooton scored,as did Antenucci against Notts County.

Byram is the one player we have that can be sold for a big fee ... Cellino's blueprint has always been to sell a good young 'un if the money is there, and to sell at least one player for a tidy sum each season ... he has publicly stated that he prefers to take unknowns and hopefully they shine so that he can sell at a big profit ... if the right money comes for Byram he will be gone, but as it stands Championship clubs are running out of money to spend and we don't have a Prem club on the horizon looking at Byram

So who would replace Byram? I've asked this question on here a number of times and have not had one answer. I think that Cellino realises that Byram is worth keeping, and I agree with him.

Thomas had his chance & didn't take it. He's only sniffing round us 'cos no-one else will have him & we'll pay more than the others. Even if we did sign him, he's be off at the sound of a tenner hitting the ground.

If you look back at his time here, we had a bit of a charge on when he was playing, after us having a bit of a flat spell. That lift in our performances always seems to get put down to him, but it certainly wasn't his individual contribution on the field that lifted us. I don't know what it was, or if it was a coincidence, but it certainly wasn't his footballing gifts. We didn't miss him that much when he deserted us for the money. He can bugger off

I'd love to say a can of beer Elland, but it's a mug of lime or lemon water, a walk, then a few crackers with a low fat cheese spread and a mug of coffee..:angel:
    Weekends a bit different though........<ale><ale><ale><ale><ale><ale><ale>
