    Good Morning Everyone,

Six top FIFA officials have been arrested this morning on suspicion of receiving and paying millions of dollars in bribes. More than 10 officials, including vice presidents Jeffrey Webb and Eugenio Figueredo and former member Jack Warner, face charges of wire fraud, racketeering and money laundering, according to The New York Times.

    I don't know about you, but I'm shocked <yikes>

You never know, the FA could be next?

Now that the dust has settled, and Rosler has got his feet under the table; the question needs to be asked, was Cellino right to get rid of Redfearn in favour of Rosler?

Leeds United have today, 26 May, announced that there has been a significant surge in the number of season ticket holders renewing their subscription over the Bank Holiday weekend.

The club website puts this increase in renewals down to a “productive few weeks for the club” with the signing of Lewis Cook to a two-year contract extension and the installation of a more settled structure with the installing of Uwe Rösler and Adam Pearson.

Season ticket renewals have been frozen for the 2015/16 campaign for renewals taken up before May 30 for members to guarantee use of their seats and they can relocate their allocated seats between Monday June 8 and Thursday June 11. Renewal prices are as follows:

    • North and South stands: Adult £445, Concession* £316, U16 £199
    • East Central Lower and West Stand: Adult £537, Concession* £408, U16 £290
    • Family Area: Adult £398, Concession* £316, U16 £175
    • Bremner Suite: Adult £629, Concession* £500, U16 £408
*Concessions: Senior Citizen 60+, Young Adult 16-22, Disabled

The club also want fans to be aware of changes being made within certain areas of the ground. The East Central Lower sections will be consolidated from three areas to one area, therefore increasing the capacity of the Family Area within the East Stand. In addition, the general admission areas in the East Stand Upper Tier will be closed for Season Ticket sales. Existing Season Ticket Holders in these areas will be given a priority transfer into an alternative area of the Stadium and will be contacted by the Ticket Office; he above processes are ongoing.

    Morning Matt. <ok>

Nothing surprises me about the corrupt, self regulating, shower of **** FIFA run by a **** of a dictator! <doh>

Not surprised either that deluded fans are happy to line Cellino's pocket even more. <whistle>

    Morning El (et al),

I'm not shocked about the FIFA thing - I'm turning cartwheels! I'm really hoping one of them goes Queens evidence (or the Swiss equivalent) and brings down the Crook Kraut too, It's all long overdue & I can't wait for developments.

I also take the official statement about season tickets with a pinch of salt. They're just trying to whip up some interest. Things must be bad.

Morning chaps. FIFA bandits should have been locked up years ago and Blatter thinks himself godlike. Yanks do it properly don't they whilst we fook around knowing the organisation is bent and corrupt, but leave them alone instead of growing some and forming a breakaway gig. Elections on Friday so the Yanks have really let the world know that voting for the status quo is now not an option. 'We came for Osama Bin Laden and Now Blatter, so be afraid" :cheesy:

Still not sure Rosler is the man, but willing to give him a chance, we should have taken Clement as he would have jumped at coming here instead of Dierby.

Elland Road a subsidiary of FIFA - Stakeholders - Ken Bates , Sean Harvey. Business model = 1 for the club and 1 for us which means we need 3 because 1 and 1 = 3 here and we have business partners offshore.

So did the club get better under GFH or did the 1 + 1 = 7 now, and then did it increase again when Cellino took over or is he trying to clean the carpet and doing the right thing in his own crazy way?

Morning all. The fifa fiasco just adds fuel to the theory that most major sports at the top level are bent. Its no different to boxing, motor racing etc. Once you introduce huge money, its inevitable some crooks get involved. On the season ticket front, if its true theres been a surge in ticket sales then we must have some very gullible fans if last weeks goings on was enough to get them to part with their cash. Why not wait until they see some actual footballers signed. Its not as if theres a shortage of seats at Elland Road. Imagine if we signed a 6m pound player as 60 suggested, the clamour for tickets would lead to the ground having to be extended surely

Good morning all, I have said before, I haven't a problem with Redfearn being replaced, I just have a problem with the way he was undermined and treated and called names by the owner as in the "Baby" comment. If we get beat the first 5 games of the season everyone will go mental, if we win 5 on the trot then everyone will believe it was the right appointment.

He will have my full backing into the new season, so far we seem to be moving in the right direction, if the new signings are as decent as the backroom appointments I might have to pinch myself.

I think Eire and Ristac have the optimism of some fans well covered and I agree. There are a few things cellino could do that would help the fans believe again.

    1. Sell the club to a Red Bull type organisation.
    2. Buy back ER as promised.
    3. Bring in 3 top players with one of them a goal scorer.
    4. Keepadagobshut and let Pearson & Rosler do the talking.
    5. How about Cellino just does 1 statement per month and all positive around what plans we have for now, next month and the rest of the season. Nothing else!!

    FIFA is a shock. <laugh>

But fear not, there should be plenty of countries still prepared to support the blameless Sepp Blatter. I am sure he won't be implicated in any wrong doing.

Agree with comments on Rossler - treatment of Redfearn appalling, dunno on Rossler, results are the first thing to look at

Good morning To Matt Steve and Neil and co from a sunny Bardsey
FIFA has been corrupted for many years and that man Blatter is at the core in my opinion that's why we are playing in Quatar how much have they paid millions
Redfern what can I say he tried his best but he never stood a chance it was too big a job for himwill Rosler succeed well he has got some great support to help him
Noticed that Beckford and Robinson are mooted to be joining us I hope not

I know it's time to move forward, but some are stilling going on about how Redders was treated,

with respects to you all, Redders brought everything on himself, and he wasn't a goody two shoes himself. Any coach who contributes to splitting the dressing room and does nothing to fix it are going to suffer the wrath of any owner, also, it's been said a few times that Redders was the one who instigated getting rid of Naylor and Bromley from academy, amongst other things. All I'm saying is, don't allow your dislike for Cellino blind you and allow you to be fooled by Redders, he knew what he was doing when he was using the fans.

With all the hoopla that's gone on surrounding Redders, not too many are making a big thing about it now Rosler's been appointed and things are starting to look a little more positive.

Beckford and Robbo coming back, I personally don't think it's a good idea and if Rosler brings'em in then imo it's his first mistake, he'll still have my support but I disagree with Beckford and Robbo returning. Robbo as keeper coach would be a good move though.

    Morning Mike. <ok>

FIFA got the stadium drinking ban lifted about a week before the world cup last year.

The stadium ban had been in place in Brazil for about 30 years and surprise, surprise, Budweiser is one of FIFA's sponsors - coincidence!! <doh>

Brilliant, Splatter says "election will still go ahead because I'm not implicated or under investigation", the 6 who are arrested were not voting against him by any chance? If so he's won again <laugh> If he does win there should be a breakaway because it's beyond a joke and our government who have questioned FIFA's ethics etc, should ban the FA from dealing with them

It's like believing Putin when he says he has no Russian troops in Kiev, just some that are on holiday.

Disagree with everything you have said but then that is what forums and opinions are for. I haven't heard anyone else say it was Redfearn behind Bromby and Naylor, nor have I read anything suggesting that be the case and for an owner to call his coach a baby, sack his number two without reason and possibly be behind 6 players refusing top play it is no wonder the dressing room was split. These great players that Redfearn refused to play, let us see how many Rosler starts with next season and lets see which loan players we actually sign. Everyone knows where I stand and yourself LL so rather than go around in circles repeating myself again I will say no more <ok>

Exactly Doc but they took Kalashnikovs instead of a bucket and spade! <laugh>

Splatter has no credibility as he faced no opposition at the last vote, the other candidate pulled out at the last minute ensuring a one candidate charade. <doh>

Splatter could have been the better person and postponed the election until another candidate came forward to try to install some credibility to himself and most importantly FIFA but septic preferred a walkover! <doh>

Sepp is doing a wonderful job at FIFA, and he will continue for at least another four years .... best thing he has accomplished so far is stopping England getting to host the World Cup ... Cellino is probably already going cold turkey with these backroom changes, he must be desperate to resume full control ... still feel we are in danger of implosion with Massego Clownio at the helm, well, except when we're docked illegally somewhere
