    Good Morning Everyone,

I know how everybody feels about former players being linked to the club, but we may have found one that could work.

Paul Robinson, 35 is leaving Blackburn in the Summer, and is loking for a new club.

Who here would give him a rolling one year contract?

Rumours of a Red Bull Takeover are circulating after a can of Red Bull was found outside Elland Road

We should get our retained list today. Be funny if Redfearn was on the not retained list.

Shambles Utd yet again isn't it and we are a laughing stock as usual because of our owners each summer. Do we have a manager/coach, which players are we giving new contracts to, which players are we allowing to go, are we selling any kids, are we bringing in another bus full of foreign loanees?

Wish Red Bull would buy us and give us the stability we need, because the soap opera we go through all year every year for a dozen years hurts now.

Paul Robinson is still a top stopper and would welcome him back because I think Alex Cairns is on his way out.

Chuffed for Grayson and Beckfords tap in was ok too, even though he slipped which put it on target <laugh> To be fair if preston hadn't have bottled it the week before they would already be promoted so I hope they get up as it will be great to see him back at ER

Morning Doc, I would let Cairns go, or a one year extension, as he is still very young, especially for a keeper.

Pleased for Grayson, Becks scores a screamer, and obviously gets linked with us again.

Good morning from a dull Bardsey to Matt and co
Beckford only seems to be able to respond to Grayson if you look at his scoring and performances since he left ER he has done nothing so I think he will sign for PNE if they get promoted
Lets hope we get rid of further dead wood today
Paul Robinson still lives close by so I guess he would love to come back

In regards to Beckford, you just have to look at his Wiki page - League one he always scores goals

Beckford now scored 20 goals abd been out for a while with the ear infection that almost forced him to retire. Garner scored 26 goals too so PNE should be ok. Grayson said that he knows how to get the best out of JB and handled in the right way he will always score goals and be lethal around the box or from anywhere. Even at Everton when Moyes didn't fancy him, and played him as a sub and on the wing, he finished up as Everton's top scorer.

We all remember that he got himself loads of chances and converted loads, but needed more attempts per goal, but played in the right way and the right team formation he scores.

If I was a player wanting to know if I had a job and wanted to book a holiday like all the other players, I would be pissed off at this club and the shoddy treatment it gives to employees

    Afternoon all

Paul Robinson I wouldn't take him back, not because he's an ex-player, it's because I don't rate if I'm being honest.

Either Red Bull will buy us or they won't. We've been talking about this for years and we're no further down the line in real terms. Granted we can talk about it a bit more.

Will be interesting to see who we keep just so we know what crap we're left with for next season

You cant coach an ability to kick or to organise a defence. Any more than I can try to educate an ignorant pompous old goat to stop needing to win every argument and rub people up the wrong way.

You might be able to make this average stopper who is prone to serious blunders to become an average keeper but its doubtful.
