    Morning Everyone,

    Three wins on the bounce...

That's what dreams are made of?

Are we just wallpapering over the cracks though, or have we turned the corner?

Well done on those of you that placed bets on Leeds to win at the weekend. 6/1 odds were very generous when you take things into account.

Here's the up to date league table

    1 Derby 32 31 62
    2 Middlesbrough 32 27 60
    3 Bournemouth 32 31 59
    4 Ipswich 32 18 57
    5 Norwich 32 26 56
    6 Watford 32 23 56
    7 Brentford 32 6 55
    8 Wolves 32 3 51
    9 Nottm Forest 32 4 44
    10 Blackburn 32 0 44
    11 Leeds 32 -6 41
    12 Sheff Wed 32 -6 40
    13 Reading 32 -10 40
    14 Charlton 32 -7 39
    15 Birmingham 32 -10 39
    16 Huddersfield 32 -12 39
    17 Cardiff 32 -6 38
    18 Bolton 32 -11 37
    19 Fulham 32 -11 36
    20 Brighton 32 -6 34
    21 Rotherham 32 -14 34
    22 Millwall 32 -20 31
    23 Wigan 32 -17 25
    24 Blackpool 32 -33 22

Quite interestingly, when Cooper came on for Bellusci, Bamba handed Cooper the Captains armband.

Sure, Cooper is the Captain, but to hand the armband over in injury time seems a little ridiculous to me.

    Agree?

    Should Bamba keep the armband?

Cooper's officially the team Captain I believe, I think it's traditional.

I don't think Bambi should be captain, while some say Bambi was marshalling the defence, there were times Bellusci was marshalling Bambi and the others.

Bambi tends to wander out of position, I say let him just play his football. Cooper's a good Captain, he knows what he's doing, looks like a natural to me.

Morning Elland <ok> glad so many took the bookies to the cleaners, but i was the first to call it if you care to flick back in the posts. Yes we got battered and won, but who cares, we battered Sunderland in the FA cup final, but who's names on the cup!!

Cannot understand the arm band with Bamba and Cooper, can you give the arm band to a lonee? or make a player the captain and put him on the bench?? you may have to ask Readfern that one.

On the match front Sol Bamba was a rock at the heart of the defence, Silvestri had a good game, but do you not think he could of held onto afew of the shots? we are light weight up front, Morison put a shift in but not the best of strikers in my books. We were lacking down the centre of midfield, what was Austins role? One thing i do know is that Cook is going to make it, reminded me a bit of Paul Scholes, especially when Clayton and him had a few words near the touch line, the wife can lip read to a certain extent and Cook said something to Clayton about him not being good enough lol.

Morning Doha, I only saw the second half of the game, but was really impressed with Bellusci and Bamba reading the game so well, and intercepting the ball

    Hey'up Elland,

Cooper was excellent at controlling the defence against Sunderland, he seemed quite natural at it, probably one of the reasons we kept it to 1-0. He seems the obvious choice at moment, can't give it to the kids, can't give it to any overseas player who's english isn't brilliant, can't give it to a loanee, can't give it to the wandering nomad, so that leaves Cooper.

What'll be interesting is, who does Redders give it to in Coopers absence, or in future. I think it'll be unfair to take it from Cooper and give it to Bamba.

A very good question Doha and well noticed.

Giving the armband to a loanee who, at moment is not a dead cert to be here in future unless he signs permanently, which I believe he wants too, sounds a bit outside the rules. You're right Doha, only Redders can answer that.

I'm with you on that Elland, happened in both halves, some journalists say same thing.

Good morning to Matt and co from a very sunny Bardsey
Well its the turn of the positive fans for a change we have been patient for such along time can we gat into the playoffs if we do it will remind me of the 1953-54 season when we had to win our last 4 games 3 of them away to get promotion nobody gave us a chance My uncle told me that he was so sure theyb wouldnt do it he would buy me a season ticket and so he did
Since Bamba came its galvanised not only the defence but also the team as a whole lets build on this I envisgae the same team apart from Cooper playing instead of the suspended Belusci
See Pennant has signed for Wigan it doesnt want to be too far away from is model wife Alice I dont blame him either
I think that Bamba is a natural leader so for me he should keep it never mind him being a loanee he's inspirational just like Chippy is for me!

    Afternoon All,

Got to agree with Doha about Cook. Since the first time I saw him he's reminded me of Scholes and I've mentioned it on here a few times. I remember Roy Keane being interviewed about midfielders in the PL when he was still playing. He dissed them all with one exception - Scholes. When asked why, he replied with a smirk "He's got a little bit of nastiness in him". Bit of an understatement!

Just read this article re the 'Boro game, and it throws up a few questions:

    http://www.gazettelive.co.uk/news/teesside-news/fourth-man-arrested-following-boro-8699192?

Anyone notice that the Leeds 'Shako' was charged, but the Smog 'Shako' was only cautioned!
Anyone got any idea what was going on outside the ground, as seen in the video? (Was anyone at the match?).
I see that a Leeds supporter was arrested for lighting a flare. Believe it or not, it reminded me of Loiner, and it was one of his many favourite subjects. Anyone any idea where he is or what he's getting up to these days? Would be great to see him back on here.

Cooper's definitely the right choice as captain, but after the last few performances that Bamba and Bellusci have put in, he can't expect to waltz right back into the team. In his absence, Bamba is definitely the most natural captain material we have, so I have no problem with him taking the armband, even if he is a loanee. I think fans place too much importance on it, anyway.

He is waltzing back into the team though, Bellusci is suspended again for two games.

Hello all from a rather sunny Florida. Cooper should remain captain for me, Bamba is only on loan at present, if he signs he might only get 18 months 2 years max where as Cooper is our future (you would hope).

It would be nice to have a captain who remains with us for the next 5-6 seasons, a stable long term team captain who everyone respects and when you ask a neutral who the Leeds captain is they know. If we are building for the future it has to be Cooper.
