Good Morning Everyone, This will put a smile on your faces... Millwall are in talks to sign former striker Luke Varney, according to News at Den. http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/millwall-in-talks-to-sign-ex-leeds-united-striker/? Redfearn has labelled Liam Cooper as a ‘natural leader’ and had no hesitation in handing him the captains armband at the Stadium of light on Sunday. He said: ”I think Coops is maturing as a player and a natural leader. I think you can see that on the pitch and he took to the mantle well. “He led from the back and was far more vocal and took to it. I thought it helped him. “It is a great honour to captain any side. But to captain Leeds United is a tremendous accolade and he deserved it.” If and when Pearce / Warnock return, who is best equipped to we wearing the Captains armband? Leeds should know in the next 48 hours whether Sassuolo forward Leonardo Pavoletti will be joining Leeds on loan intil the end of the season subject to agreeing terms.
Good Morning to Matt and his crew from a damp dull Cote De Bardsey I have always said that Cooper would make anexcellent captain he was captain of Chesterfield so hes used to it Lets hope our newsignings come soon On their way out Pearce Austin Norris Hunt White Ajose Morrison to name but a few All we need is someone good ar jigsaws we have the pieces we just need someone to put them together I see Howe has been linked to Newcastle not surprised Lennon has been told he cam leave Spurs have we got a sell on fee ditto Delph
Morning Matt and all. Looking forward to seeing what gibberish the wallies use to justify signing varney. Proof positive, that no matter how rubbish we are, they will always be a level even worse. Varneys our rejected reject. Lewis cook being offered a new contract but some of the miseries on Twitter are predicting that's the warm up to him being sold in the January window with supposedly some top pl teams interested. Might be another 11m quid? Who knows
Morning Mike, I agree with all you outgoings... Be interesting to see if Coope can keep hold of the Captains armband
Morning Eire, TC, Mighty and Steve be be on the phones to the Samaritans by the time we've finished with them.
Wooton back at ER will he be offloading I think so when we have Fabio I reported in Nov that petriol would be 99.9p in Jan well who will be the first my tip is Asda
You might well be right about Wooton, Mike. Pity - I'd rather have kept him than Pearce. http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/le...ampionship-club-regarding-deal-for-defender/? Leeds United are in talks with Rotherham United regarding Whites defender Scott Wootton joining Steve Evans’ side on a permanent basis, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post. please log in to view this image Scott Wootton could be joining Rotherham on a permanent deal Wootton has been on-loan at Rotherham United for the first-half of the season, however he has now returned to Elland Road. The ex-Manchester United defender could be joining the Millers on a permanent deal though, with both clubs in talks regarding a potential deal. The 23-year old came through the youth system at Old Traffordand made four first-team appearances including an appearance in the UEFA Champions League in a three year period but did have loan spells with Tranmere Rovers, Nottingham Forest and two spells with Peterborough United. Wootton does not seem to be a part of Leeds boss Neil Redfearn’s plans this season, with Redfearn utilising Giuseppe Bellusci and Jason Pearce more often that not at the heart of the Leeds defence. The Red Devils are owed a part of the fee if Wootton moves to Rotherham United in this transfer window. Meanwhile, Leeds United are interested in former Paris Saint Germain defensive midfielder Granddi N’Goyi, as reported on FLW. This news of Leeds United’s interest in the Palermo midfielder comes after the news that the Yorkshire club are set to offer starlet Lewis Cook a new deal, to fend off interest from Liverpool and other top-flight clubs. The Yorkshire club lie near the relegation zone in the Sky Bet Championship, and currently sit in 20th position in the division, having amassed 24 points from 24 league games, whilst Rotherham lie in 19th position.
Noit right a gain I must have got it from Chippy as he says I simply copy everybody else what about the 99.9p a litre did I copy that as well as to my knowledge it has only just been reported! So to reiterate to leave either on loan or sold Austin sold Wooton sold Murphy soldHunt given away probably paid off Ajose probably contrad with what we owe them for Murphy Norris paid off Morrison loaned out White loaned out Pearce sold
It's common knowledge the club want rid of Murphy, Wootton, Ajose and Austin, Hunt has been out on loan, his contract is up in 6 months, it isn't hard to see who still features in the clubs plans and who doesn't. To repeat common news stories certainly doesn't mean you are in the know?? Do it enough times and sure you are going to be right now and again along with everyone else. For the price of petrol to drop below the £1 mark the cost of a barrel of oil would need to fall to between 40 and 45 dollars a barrel, something else that was suggested a long time back, jumping onto a news story does not make you an oracle lol
Looks like we might sell a player to Man City soon ...for 30 Million £.We've come a long way from our race with you guys in league 1.Slow growth and a good board got us to this point , something I hope you guys get and deserve .
We have decided that 60 can speak for all of us, either that or we are posting on another forum where we don't get continually told how someone always knows more than the rest of us.
